Made the change. Very happy with the performance. I drove around all night. Now, I need to change the fog light bulbs with the fog breakers. Problem is they don't have the size in stock from where I bought it. It is either H11 or 16. I forgot which one. They have one of these models, but it didnt fit the Hilux bracket. I was wondering if anyone can recommend an alternative. I do both city driving, and dark mountain and country roads driving. So I need all the light I can get, without affecting oncoming cars.

Had Osram Nightbreakers as well before. There's an improvement over stock headlights, but it's not night and day:

If you want significantly better lighting output, an HID projector retrofit is the way to go:

Same lang with stock. The Nightbreakers are still yellow.

The difference between nightbreakers and stock headlamps is only noticeable if you look for it. For non-car guys, they wouldn't notice. The only discernible characteristic of the NB is the blue tinge on the bulb that's reflected on the car's reflector headlamp housing.

If ever, what we do sometimes is to change the fog lamp bulbs to all-weather types for better visibility in poor weather.

Hirap mag hanap nung fog breakers for the Hilux fog lamps. H16 ata to, pero H11 lang available. Sabi sa FB Hilux forums either or, pero when the mechanic tried, di kaya sa bracket. Any other brand na may H16 dyan?

Yup. I paired mine with yellow or 3,000 kelvin fog light bulbs. But I only had a front visor tint so visibilty is ok even in the early morning with fog and no street lights.

True. H16 options are still very limited. Just give it a little time. ;)
