All New 2013 Toyota Vios (3rd Gen)

1.3J owner here...from CDO

Just had my 1k PMS today,paid only around P1,600(ordinary oil). Luckily, I have never experienced problems with my unit like the ones mentioned in this forum e.g. Suspension, wipers, etc.
So far, the only problem i encountered with my unit is that my Stereo doesnt turn off automatically even after turning off the ignition & removing the key. The casa told me that I was their 2nd client who encountered the same problem.My service advisor told me that one of the solution would be to change the stereo since it is covered by warranty,but i have to wait 3-4weeks for delivery. If the problem would still persist even with the replacement stereo, it will be the time they'll check the wirings, since they are not authorized to check as of the moment without the 'go signal' from the main casa in manila. He also told me to come back the next day for there will be an inspector coming from TMC-main to check my case.

Overall,the 3rd gen vios is a good car, worth the money - no regrets

Sir I have the same problem with my Vios J... I thought normal lang yun, malapit na rin ako mag 1k, shoudl i inform the casa or should i just tell them once I go there for my 1k maintenance? please advise mga sirs, thanks!

congrats sa mga new vios owners! Mukhang maraming kumuha ng red.

Sobrang dami na ngang red sa mga daan. Nakakasawa na tuloy. Siguro ang ilan sa kanila kapag nakakita ng ibang color nagsisisi kung bakit red ang kinuha.

If the radio used to turn off but now it doesn't then you have a short either in the wiring or in the radio itself. If you are knowledgeable about automotive electrical wiring and have a volt meter or test light you can troubleshoot it yourself to see where the problem is, otherwise you need to take it to a car stereo shop and have them check the 12 volt connections at the back of the radio to make sure the red (NOT BLUE)accessory wire to the radio is not showing 12 volts when the ignition key is turned off.

Go through and check all your grounds. I had this same issue, my key fob didnt work either. It was basically like the car still thought there was a key in the ignition. It did it all the time when it was wet which led me to believe it was a ground. I cleaned off all my grounds and did some cleaning and my bay and it's never done it since.

Waaaah help po, natamaan ng bato yung front windshield ng vios j nagkaroon ng gasgas (thankfully wala namang crack)... wala pa 1k ang odo... question:
1. should i inform the casa immediately (will they replace it?) or the insurance? or
2. may mga solutions ba para matanggal yung gasgas?

will include pictures when i get home help pls! huhuhu! kawawang sasha red nagkagasgas agad ang winshield

usually pag J talaga, red ang best bet na color. haha. ok lang yan sateng mga naka-red j vios. mapagmahal naman tayo. lol.

Hi sir. Sorry to hear abt your windshield. Most prob casa wont replace it but pwede po yata ipa claim sa insurance yan. Alam ko meron shops na nagtatangal ng crack at gasgas ng salamin. Meron sila inaaply na chemichal. But im not sure abt the durability ng gawa nila.

Hindi na yan normal,sir...pinalitan na ng bagong stereo unit ko knina kc under warranty pa.factory defect daw.ginawan na nila ng report kc 2nd case na daw ako dito sa CDO.mas mabuti mapa-check mo na yan kc baka malimutan mo patayin stereo mo,ma-drain battery mo.

Good thing napalitan na yung stereo.
I was planning kc mgpalagay ng mga speakers..although hndi nman daw ma-void yung warranty kung mgpa-install ng new speakers sa labas,nagiging madali ang investigation ng taga-warranty department knowing all stock pa yung unit.
Yun kc isang client na same complaint sa akin,ngpalagay na ng new speakers kaya natagalan.
