What's your route with the 11-12 km/L FC? Full tank method ba 'to?

For mixed driving, that's about right. If it's pure city driving, that's really really good, borderline unbelievable for the 3rd gen.

haven't drove recently with passengers again pero eto na lang din naiisip okng gagawin pag mag passengers at the back. mag syete na lang lalo na pag yung humps e mataas. alam mo naman sa pinas kahit sino pwede mag lagay ng humps sa daan at kahit gaano pa kataas

my average for the last 5 full tanks is 11.84 km/L

daily route is nova-trinoma-nova via SB/Mindanao ave in the morning and via Commonwealth ave in the evening. current odo reading is approx. 4,000 km.

lowest FC ko so far is 16.58 km/L when we drove to Pangasinan via NLEX/SCTEX when my odo reading before was a little over 1,000 km (also had my 1st pms before that drive).

unit ko is 1.3 J manual

That's reasonable FC given your Commonwealth route and MT Vios.

yes am satisfied with my fc. i had an 09 chevy spark before my vios and my fc for that is almost the same, even lower i think (10.++ km/L iirc) even if the spark had a smaller engine

conventional 4AT ang vios. ramdam ang shifting and up to 4 gears lang.

ang CVT naman, continous variable. hindi ramdam ang shifting ng geara and smooth ang up/down shift. more than 4 ang gears nito

conventional AT has solid gears that have specific gear ratios. shifting from one gear to the other gear entails some amount of "shift shock" that is palpable.
CVT has an "almost infinite combination" of gear ratios, and by virtue of its physics, the shift shock is virtually not palpable. except maybe from zero speed.
some authors also say that CVT may not be as sturdily built as traditional AT, again by virtue of its design.

i have had the experience driving both. and the CVT is really more pleasureable to drive.

there's a very nice video on CVT in the nissan sylphy thread. go to it and watch, sir.
