For mixed driving, that's about right. If it's pure city driving, that's really really good, borderline unbelievable for the 3rd gen.
yup full tank method. ang ruta ko.. slex via mamplasan going to SM sta rosa on weekends. tapos sundo sa gate ng village si wife, siguro mga 300-400 m lang yung gate from our house... daily yun everyday except monday.. my speed sa slex is 90 to 110 siguro. 120 pag pabalik kasi ako na lang mag isa he he he.

conventional 4AT ang vios. ramdam ang shifting and up to 4 gears lang.

ang CVT naman, continous variable. hindi ramdam ang shifting ng geara and smooth ang up/down shift. more than 4 ang gears nito

conventional AT has solid gears that have specific gear ratios. shifting from one gear to the other gear entails some amount of "shift shock" that is palpable.
CVT has an "almost infinite combination" of gear ratios, and by virtue of its physics, the shift shock is virtually not palpable. except maybe from zero speed.
some authors also say that CVT may not be as sturdily built as traditional AT, again by virtue of its design.

i have had the experience driving both. and the CVT is really more pleasureable to drive.

there's a very nice video on CVT in the nissan sylphy thread. go to it and watch, sir.
