and now mas magaan din ang gen 3 sa gen 2.
anong meron sa gen2 for it having a slightly heavier body than the 1st and 3rd gen?

The gen 2 is a lot bigger than the gen 1. According to the press release the gen 3 uses lighter but stiffer metal alloys.

Thanks for the link sir. Medyo nahirapan ako basahin pero parang ok na ang J. Ang nakakamiss lang na feature sa E is yung ABS. Others are just nice to have. Ok na ok na talaga ang J for point a to point b driving. Aftermarket wheels nalang popogi na lalo. Sana wag muna lumabas yung mga taxi version! For the novelty of the new owners.

*jaymd, Mukhang ok naman and I don't find it lacking (for me and another passenger). Still feel the jolt and acceleration once I depress the pedal, although haven't tried doing a 200kph yet . Pero syempre compared sa 1.6 at sa 1.8s, tangible na ang difference. Pero compared sa 1.3 na city, parang mas my oomph pa yung vios (just my opinion, not trying to flame). And regards weight, JohnM is right, toyota has been saying all along that its lighter by 3% due to lighter but stiffer metal alloys.

Anybody noticed the prominent "aerodynamic bumps" on the roof ? First time to see it on a car anywhere so far.

*number001, yup, noticed it too (aerodynamic bumps). kala ko yupi, pero symmetrical, both left and right at sa rear din. And was also happy to see that the spare tire was set on the same wheels as the other four and not steel rims.

IIRC the Toyobaru also has a catamaran roof. Increases stiffness and height over the driver and passenger.

kasi kami from empty with warning light on = 32 Liters/1664 pesos only.
then after 115.7 KM nagpapuno ulit kami tapos 15.9 liter ang full tank.
thats 7.27 km to a liter only?
thats city driving - marikina - katipunan area.

yep, nakuha ko gen 2 or 2.5 vios last march 26, 2013. big discount kaya mahirap pakawalan. nung una around 6-7km/l lang ako at ang tire pressure ko di ko pa napansin paglabas ng casa eh 45psi. sa cavite ko na nacheck, anyway, after 1k pm tumaas ako ng ,ga more or less 11.5, naging 12, naging 12.5 last is 13.5 now almost 14kpl na ako and nearing 5k pms na din.

Was involved in a minor accident kanina. Manager ng toyota yung mayari. Driver nya nakabangga sakin. Sasagutin naman nila lahat. Sa toyota casa gagawin. So anyways nagpic at nagpaquote na rin ako for the vios. Hehehe. I got a really good quote and a special discount pambawi sa abala. Saktong sakto my gf is the market for a new car. Either mirage or vios ang choices nya. With the quote for the vios though, sobrang hirap na iresist over the mirage. Share ko lang yung pics. Sobrang pogi! Congrats sa new owners! I can only imagine the look on your faces whenever youll be driving your cars.
