Unfortunately its still manual, and retains the keyless entry with alarm system. still no back sensors. But who knows maybe a spec up variant would include all those

Ganyan din naman ginawa nila nung 2003 Vios. E and G variant, tapos 2004 nagkaroon ng Vios J. Which is surprising kasi, around 2000s yung "J" variant ang top spec models nila. Remember the circa 2000 RAV4 J, Super Grandia J, Revo SR-J?

Well those are more like the special "spec" variant. with some other extra features from the standard. parang un Vios J "Limited" ngayon.

Yun Vios J kasi, is the standard entry level grade for the Vios ever since. they're just delaying it for a few weeks to give way to the more up market / retail focused G & E. TOYOTA already enjoys the 51% share of the subcompact market, but I guess they're never really contented. They want a share of the class A & B market of the Honda City. gusto talagang durugin ang competition. hahaha

Yup, special spec variant = top variant.

Tapos after about a year, the ZZ Altis slammed the J variant to be the base model, then came the Vios doing it as well, then the Innova, Hi-Lux and Avanza later on. A complete turn around.
