well we're just looking for a dealer who can give us the best price. as it is, we already have the bank approval and the rates presented to us by bpi. whatever the monthly amortization would be based on the price that us and dealer would agree on.

few pts
- bpi at around 24.9% for 5 years I think, plus a 5% rebate at the end of the term.
- dealer is giving us the E type for less than 40k from SRP

the bank part is already done. just hoping to get feedback if the dealer part is okay.
btw this is toyota shaw that I am talking about.

The deal I got : Vios 1.3E M/T, discount is 45k, DP 150K, monthly is 11,600, free 3M full tint in front, regular tint on the sides. Plus window visors and standard seat covers. Not sure if it's a good deal though although sa 10 na SA na kina deal ko from different dealers, un ang pinaka mataas na discount given.

thanks for all the replies. yung 45 sir sounds good. san kaya yan? ang nasabi lang sa amin regarding sa tint e visor type for the front, the rest full. yung rain visors parang hindi na mention yata..

Mga sir, just want to consult lang sa inyo.. Ung vios ko minsan parang hirap or mabigat humatak kahit dalawa lang kami ng wife ko at sa edsa pa. Pag coming from full stop parang need ko pa I rev hanggang 2500 to 3000 bago ko ma ipasok sa segunda tapos parang bitin pa din tuloy minsan na a alangan ako mag overtake. I'm using 3rd Gen 1.3e. Fuelsave gamit ko and 2 months old na oto. Does it have something to do with the ECU settings din? Most of the time naman Ok dyan pero may takbo ako na parang ang bigat and ramdam ko difference. I don't think na nasanay lang ako sa 1.6 Corolla ko dati. Appreciate any suggestions kung may need ba ako I troubleshoot. Thanks!

1. try filling up with a higher octane fuel. fuelsave din ako dati then noticeable na gumanda takbo using xcs, kaso may knock, so I am now on Caltex gold.
2. check if the tires are properly inflated. 32psi front 30psi back.
3. tingin ko may difference talaga ang 1.6 vs 1.3 coz nung nag driving lessons ako, altis yung pinagamit sakin at pansin ko na malakas talaga hatak ng 1.6.

Sir check niyo po muna ung tires niyo siguro. Last time kasi I cruise along EDSA, I was with 3 passengers and pansin ko nahirapan din yung Vios ko. Dumaan ako gas station bago umuwi to check my tires, ayun puro 27 psi. Dati naman ayos takbo ko sa EDSA even with 3 passengers. FuelSave din pala gamit ko.

seriously, the discount up front may be more than compensated by increased monthlies..
why not show us the details?... the down.. the monthlies.. the other fees.. then we can compute for the total cost of acquisition. (hindi ako. yung mga accountants na interesado dito)

Have tried gold before but I will try with full tank to see if the 'issue' I am having will recur pa din. Anyway, i owned the 1.6 for 13 years. Baka hangover din haha. I'll post my observations here after using gold.

Sorry, forgot to mention, it's thru BPI financing ha. I chose to have higher DP kase mas gusto ko lower monthly. Sa Toyota Manila Bay ito. Ask for the front to have full tint and 3M ikabit nila. The tint they normally use gets scratched easily lalo na sides pag binababa taas lagi ang Windows. Ask for the rain visors too. Wag ka mag ok kung ayaw ibigay :-D Try to do the purchase na close to month end din

Nice. Na try ko Makati and I remember they are trying give me kurduroy seat covers instead of the regular ones pero 40k discount lang. Ano pa freebies na binigay sayo sir? I think ung ibang 'freebies' nila is standard package that comes with the car purchase talaga sinasabi lang nila freebies hehe

may naka-experience na ba dito na hindi nababasa ng radio yung new songs sa USB?
I use usb kasi for my songs, nakaplug lang sa car radio. nung unang gamit ko (ex. 10 songs) nababasa naman lahat.

but when I added new songs sa usb (ex. from 10 songs to 15 songs), hindi niya nababasa yung 5 additional songs. pero yung 10 songs na nauna nababasa naman nya. baka lang may tips kayo.

As per experience sir, namimili vios (car stereo) ng USB. Naka ilan na ako hindi nya totally binabasa, yung isa na stop and play, yung isa naman sige lang read hindi na play... effective yung nabili kung USB na sinasalpakan lang ng micro sd, maliit lang sya di masyado litaw sa car stereo at mura pa (70php=usb) plus the micro sd depending sa gig ang price and kung mayrun class 10 na micro sd yun ang kunin mo para mabilis basahin.

sir 1.3E A/T unit ko, noticeable saken yung difference ng fuelsave and nitro+.

i think normal lang for a 1.3 yung napapansin mo na mabigat na hatak. try to release then depress the accelerator pedal slowly kapag pakiramdam mo na bitin hatak, works for me. i guess the drop in rpm aides in the smoother shift to second gear.

Try uni oil, kahit yung premium lang, not the 97octane. Malaki difference sa response ng engine
