DId they honor the warranty? From what i know suspension is always not covered.

We did not talked about the warranty kasi I pointed out to them na as soon as I droved out the car from casa pagkabili ko, true enough, napansin ko na agad ang sinasabi dito sa forum na noise regarding the front suspension. I immediately informed my Sales Rep about it and she informed me na marami nga raw ang may reklamo ng ganon. I asked her kung anong action ng branch nila? Wala naman raw makitang problema. Well, kung pagbabasehan nga yung sinasabi niya na sinasabi ng mga technical nila, wala talagang makikitang problema. That is kung aangatin lang at sisilipin lang ang ilalim or anything for that matter regarding the suspension. Kasi bago pa lahat ang mga parts non and a mere visual inspection would not suffice. Since that is their response about the issue, hindi na ako nagsayang ng panahon para mag pa schedule ng test drive. I decided to escalate the matter to Toyota Motor Philippines. And in fairness, I narrate to them kung ano ang sagot ng dealer sa issue. What followed was a preferential attention on the issue with my car's suspension. But as we all know, specially if you have driven the various generation of Vios, there *is* a problem with the front suspension. Ibang-iba talaga ang tunog niya. Narinig ko na din kasi yon sa Gen 1 Vios that I was driving before. Nalimutan ko lang kung ano ang pinalitan na parts. Pero siyempre, the design of the suspension of that Vios is different from now. And in fairness, after maayos ang problem sa suspension ng Gen 1 Vios na yon, very satisfied ako. For me, mas okay ang suspension ng Gen 1 Vios compared to the succeeding generation of Vios. Very solid, firm and stable. I hope Toyota Motor Philippines would not turn a blind eye or deaf ear on the issue and come up with a real solution to this problem. As of now, parating pa lang raw ang pamalit nilang parts by the end of this month Kaya pala hindi na tumawag ulit sa akin ang Customer Relations Officer nila. Nag follow up lang ulit ako this week.

How often do you bring your vios into the carwash? Also how often do ypu have it waxed? I recently had mine for 2 weeks and I am thinking on having it waxed at Big Berts. Any opinion is welcome

I know it would be difficult, but if we vios owners who have this problem all meet up and bring our case to toyota, maybe they will act quicker. Together, we can be stronger...

Many times na kasi car owners are left alone in their dilemmas and more often than not since new model release hindi nila binibigyang pansin ito.

Toyota Cebu South just called me regarding the replacement parts ( they have just received after 3 weeks of waiting for my 8 months old gen. 3 vios with only less than 5K kms ODO. hahay, less than 1K kms palang nagreklamo na ako ng "TOK" sound ngayon lang nila papalitan some part of the front suspension (lower control arm, bushing & link arms) except for the shocks as per advise from TOYOTA Manila.. hopefully ma address na yung TOK sound..

mataas ata sobra FC ng vios ko..
based sa mga naipost dto 1.3 or 1.5 mt or at ang average is naglalaro between 9-16km/L from city-highway…

mine is 8.0 km/L at 2000+ odo on a 1.5G mt..mix city and highway..and seldom ko pa nilalabas sa traffic sa edsa or sa katipunan yung vios ko..around qc lang or pasig ang takbo ko and usually during WEEKENDS w/ my family..
FULL TANK method so far..na try ko na BLAZE and SHELL V-Power gas…

meron din ba dito with the same fuel consumption gaya ng sakin?

2010 model is fine. but the point of my comment was, is there something "wrong" with the new vios? why are many people complaining about little kinks in it? are today's customers more discriminating, or, is this just the product of easier communication, courtesy of the internet? that the older models had many problems also, only at that time, people were not gung ho into internet...

Siguro po more of a complain than a demand…complain wherein consumers were sold with the same product with same SRP value..the price increases depending on who the dealer is…though of same company..

Complains might arises when different consumers does not get the same satsifaction as the other consumers in which lahat naman have the same product and product price…

Bottomline is that the "consumers" should have the right to the same quality of service/ and product as the others who paid for the same product for the same amount of price….

Sana mapayuhan nyo ko, mg enroll po ako ng refresher course sa driving school tomorrow 5 days 1 hour a day kasi nturuan nako mag drive using civic kaso di ko pa natry mg drive sa my sasakyan at mga tao. paikot-ikot lang isang mlaking bakanteng subdibisyon tsaka 1 day lang yun at almost 3hours palang iyun kaya mg enroll ako. i can not give you a straight yes or no. let's see... 16 today, 26... you have ten days to practice! kaya mo 'yan!
palakasan lang yan ng loob. and you will know only once you try it.
of course, the more hours you log practising your driving, the more confident you get.
i remember my first driving lesson... isinabak ako ng instructor sa rush hour taft avenue traffic..

my suggestion.. choose a less-traveled route on you way home from the casa, and not during rush hour, if you can help it.
you might also ask an experienced driver to accompany you.
humor me... you are driving from where to where?

full tank from urdaneta. trip was from urdaneta-tarlac-tplex-sctex-nlex. almost consistent at100km/hr 3k rpm.

Yung problem ko dati na kumakalansing na sound pag nagaaccelerate ako nawala after 2FT ng shell fuelsave. Xcs gamit ko dati. Di kaya madumi o my halo dun sa pinapagasan ko noon?

actually, nabasa ko nga yan somewhere.. na hindi required professional ang kasama ng student kaya kampante ako magdrive drive nun.
sinabi ko sa pa sakanya na nabasa ko nga ganun. pero hindi daw. tapos tinanong ko rin sa iba, ang pagkakaalam nila dapat nga professional kasama.

anyway, ok lang wala naman syang nakuha sakin. mga 10 minutes lang ng oras ko..
