There is no dipstick to check atf. I would recommend that you have it checked at your casa.

wanted to ask if anyone got the their jerky transmission unit this may?

or was it all the earlier march and april releases that had this problem?

Sport mode is only a throttle response adjustment. When you were driving at 100kph, your accelerator was probaby depressed an inch or two. But at the same accelerator position using sport mode, the throttle is much stronger hence 4th gear. It basically shortened the throttle response. Not the best explanation. I still need my coffee.

i backread a bit.... so it seems toyota has not figured out a solution for this until now?

i guess owners will have to wait for a solution and prospective buyers will have to sit it out until they find a solution...

i hope they find a solution soon. someone mentioned something about replacing a torque converter from toyota bicutan...
lets see if that works out....
