Juan yes toyota should repair all the affected units unfortunately the tech guys here dont have any clue whats goin on. My suggestion if it happens to you report it immidetely, document everything so that you can claim to warranty

These could be isolated cases, why car dealers doesn't know about this?

I wonder why they have not detected this. A jerky transmission will be quite easy to detect during testing right?

I dont think its isolated meron na ako nakausap meron din fort nila. Dealers will not tell customers. They will loose a lot of business even toyota phil will not admit their fault. Even previous model d4d problem they just quietly change the problem part.

    Hi Cox!

I've been driving my mother's 1week old fortuner 2.4g a/t so no hill descent. Also I am experiencing that jerk. Felt during decceleration at approx. 35km/h. By my non-expert guess parang nag re-release ang lock up torque converter but then again wild guess lang iyon.

During r&d most parts are pre-production. Maybe during the production phase the supplier might have tweaked something to save money. Hopefully these are isolated cases, but i totalled almost 10 posters saying theyve experienced this already. And it was a recent issue in thai forums maybe a certain batch is only affected.

Same here bab when slowing down below 40 yan lalabas, going down the flyover or simply slowing dow. now its official TMP is telling me becuase of the hill decent and 4x4 models. told the dealership tranny problems talaga. Sorry nalang tayo for our units. I have 2 more units of fort to be released this week. Cancelled it already.

Hi sir, can you share the links. May napapansin akong parang "uga"/vibrate pag nag rotate around 180 degrees, not sure if normal yun.

Para din macheck ko for other issues. Hirap na, baka may naiignore akong possible issue. :D

    Edit: sorry if medyo OT
