Sa innova ko, 1st gen, you can program the Toyota keyless remote to have an audible sound or not when arming / disarming the alarm ... hindi na ba standard ito sa new fortuner?

Ibang module cguro gamit sa mga V variant kaya may beep sound everytime mag lock/unlock. Sa G kasi di ko tlga mapagana mag beep. Hehe.

Agree sir, medyo mataas nga pms ko, wala tayong magagawa, kailangan kasi mag pms when the time comes.

As for the auto lock, sa akin ay V variant, di nag auto lock, kaya I need to always double check kng naka lock o hindi.

V variant owner here. I confirm sir it automatically locks after few secs & already has beep sounds as it locks/unlocks.

Yes. Pag sa push start kasi, merong sensor ang iba sa front doors na may maliit na button din sa door handles ginagamit para di na ilabas ang susi para sa paglock/unlock ng kotse. May beep siya pag pinindot mo ang button para malaman mo kung na-unlock or lock mo siya.

I'll try later when I get back to parking. Un sa akin kasi sir ang sinasabi ko ung halimbawa i-unlock ko cia then after few moment lang na hindi napuntahan mag-auto lock na cia.

i think sa v variant wala auto lock tama si sir vinrem kaw mismo maglock and unlock ang alam ko meron lang nung autolock yung outside kabit alarm

Ganyan din sa Innova G ko before the first closing mag autolock sya but then if after nya mag lock then you open again hindi na, thats what i do pag nagwashing ako..

ah oo, parang napansin ko nga yan sir. pag galing sa parking yung oto, syempre nakalock siya nang matagal dun sa parking. pag bukas mo sa kanya tapos sasara mo na ulet, di na siya mag-automatic lock. kakailanganin mong ipindot ulet sa susi mo. na-observe ko na pala ito sa vios namin dati.

pag subukan kaya at a certain distance, yung medyo malayo nang onti sa car habang nakapark tapos di nilock, di kaya mag-autolock ulet sya pag ganun?

Nung una MT sana din kukunin ko, pero nag change mind ko at nag AT. So far wala naman akong pagsisisi, mabilis naman pick up niya maybe comparable sa MT. Atsaka bonus na yung relax sa traffic. Hehe

Your decision may depend on your location or where you are based sir. Pag nasa province ka kasi mas masarap i-drive ang MT while kung Manila ka almost mandatory na ang AT dahil sa tindi ng traffic. Sakit sa tuhod hehe

peruse the AT versus MT thread here, and be inundated by the myriad of opinions.

my drive is a MT, and i regularly brave the metro (and edsa!) traffic. but as my MT's pedal is soft, the stick comfortable enough, and the aircon is great, i don't really mind too much, even as i also have ATs in my garage.

Can Daytime Running Lights (DRL) be easily enabled in G variants? I believe only the V variants have them now. My 86 did not have DRL enabled by default but I just had to plug in an old Toyota fuse in the DRL slot in the fuse box.

coming from an AT Honda.. nag MT Fort ako... mas na tipuhan ko mag drive ng MT kesa AT.
mas na appreciate ko ang driving.. lalo na pag may nakikipag karera sa daan.. iwan sila sa pag power mode ako parang nag nitro lang... hehe..

sa Honda ko kasi paddle shifter lang tapos mad d-down shift ka para ma harness mo yung rpm bawat gear.

yun nga lang downside pag ma traffic.. pero sanayan lang.
laking tulong din yung eco mode button pag trapik kasi di ganun kalakas ang arangkada unlike pag naka normal mode.
