I saw the Wigo on display at Toyota Pasig. I was surprised that the cabin space was decent for its size. Very basic car that I'd love to have if I had extra cash.

I test drove 1 awhile ago. May lag from full stop and go, not from N pa yun.
Then yung brake medyo Hindi kumakagat agad. Not sure Baka linis lang ang kailangan.
From stop medyo hinataw ko, Medyo tunog Hirap, Siguro it's because of the 1.0 engine coming from a 1.5 engine user.
frustrated in the test drive, definite lag from full stop to drive.... 5 adults, inclined parking....
My verdict..
Buy if you need a cheap Manual Car
Opt for the Mirage GLX AT if you need a Matic... you'll feel happy you got the extra 200cc/HP... add the
goodies later, it harder to add go parts to a 1.0 li engine.
HTH
most if not all of us sanay sa 1300cc engines or above then you try to step on the wigo's gas pedal expecting it to move faster??
Sent from Constantinople
I'd choose a Toyota over Mitsubishi anytime, high end or low end..
This is no comparo with a 1.2, 1.3 or 1.5, malakas nga, malakas din sa gasolina, at mas mahal..
And if speed and porma is your thing, you're in the wrong thread..look for 86 instead..

Actually, it's this:
It seemed more like an issue with the electronic throttle programming when I drove it.
The Mirage 1.2 can hit nearly 30 km/l. With an automatic. None of the automatic 1.0s can do that.
Fuel economy is not just a matter of displacement, it's dependent on overall vehicle design. While the Mirage has many shortcomings, fuel economy is not one of them.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
