April 14th, 2022 12:17 PM #1i agree with "wrong jagnosis".
faulty ignition coil resulting to locked brakes...
googling at leisure now, a luxury the original post-er didn't have at that time,
it would appear, the problem might have been solved by doing a few, expense-free maneuvers.
today's intelligent cars do pose problems when they malfunction.
i yearn for yesterdecades' electro-mechanical cars...
years ago, my sentra engine abruptly stopped.
it was towed to the casa.
when i retrieved it later, the bill was unbelievably low. "labor++" only.
"ano po nakitang sira?", i asked the old-timer mekaniko there.
"lumuwag lang ang timing cam sprocket bolt. binalik at hinigpitan namin."
"and we also replaced the rubber brake stop in your pedal that you apparently lost." (now, how did they notice that!)
i was so happy at their "non-creativity" in engine work.Last edited by dr. d; April 14th, 2022 at 12:35 PM.
