Hi guys! I Just bought a second hand swift 2013 model. Thanks!
Malaki ba yng difference ng old Swift models na 1.5 pa vs later 1.4/1.2 models? I'm thinking of buying a well maintained used Swift and I'm wondering if the 1.5 models are still worth considering. TIA.
^I've heard from the owners that the 1.5 consumes significantly more fuel than the 1.4. Pero looks-wise it's aged really well since minor changes lang naman ginawa ng Suzuki over the different variants.
Thanks for the input. I'll be on the lookout for1.4/1.2 models na llng.
Then saan ba dapat mag base sa month or tinakabo na kilomenter?
^depende sa dealer
suzuki commonwealth (a bit higher than usual)
1k - 1650
5k - 1650
10k - 5k - 7k
15k - 1650
20k same as 10k plus ATF
25K 1650
and so on. . notice the 5k, 10k and 20k difference .. hth
note: not sure if its 20k or 40k for ATF replacement
Samalat sir.
1k, 2k, 3k.. ?
Sa mga owner ng swift 1.2.. With regards sa maintenance at check up. So if may monthly is 10k dapat mag laan pa ako ng ng 2k for maintenance if kukuha ako ng swift..
Good things about small car e low maintence talaga... Sa amin kasi tinitignan namin yung low fuel consumption, low maintenance, good ride for may 2yrs old son and wife, proud to own...
Kaya even maliit ang swift.

i don't have a swift, but...
the in-escapeable expenses: annual LTO is about 3.5K.. the pms would be 3.5 - 7.0K.. compre insurance about 13K (unless you don't need it)..
the gas, let's say 2K a month or 24K annually (if you use it "sparingly" and don't drive it to the restroom everytime, heh heh).
the assumption i am making is, since it's a new car, nothing untoward should happen to it in the first three years; and you don't intend to borloloy it like a jeepney..
that totals 44K a year or at least 3.7 to 4K a month, for using it.
add to this the monthly hulogs if bought on installment..

I see. I need 4k per month aside on monthly hulog.. So if 10k per month plus 4k on other expenses.. 14k lahat.. Thanks.. Now i have wide idea on it.. Hindi na ako magugulat sa expenses.

the unseen expense in owning a car, is that one can now buy more things that one could not before with ease, because one now has transport abilities that one did not have before.
in my book, this is the biggest expense associated with car ownership. para bang credit card..
Pansin ko kasi maraming new car owner e monthly lang ang naisip and pag asa kanila na lang e nagugulat na sila sa maintenance. So masisira ang budget nila..
ganun talaga bro
meron naman ako kilala di kailangan ng auto, pero bumili (dami pera extra) 3 year old na yun kotse kaka 5k palang ng odometer hehehe
