Hello people: Help Needed

I'm getting a car thorugh my company and my budget's limited, between 700-730K. I'm looking for sound advice.

I'm choosing between a Mazda 3 and a Suzuki Swift. My wife wants the Mazda because it's bigger but I'm worried because I hear it can be a bit sluggish. I like Mazda's interiors better, though. Most of my officemates got Mazda 3s, too.

F/C won't be an issue because I'll get a gas card from my company.

I've visited dealers for both brands and they have assured me that they can work around my budget and throw in some freebies.

Head to head which is better?

Appreciate the help!

MAZDA3 NO BRAINER. Mazda is aiming to be Japan's BMW. and so it shows in how their cars handle and drive.

Bro Moxxxs, meron pero nasa China nga lang hehe. My Swift is the 1.3 liter so I cannot compare it sa 1.5 na nilabas dito. Pero kahit na 1.3 lang I am very much happy with it kasi it is really fun to drive. Fastest speed that I was able to reach is 170kph. Ilang beses na akong na-"kodakan" ng high-speed cameras kasi it no sweat to reach 140kph na hindi ko namamalayan. 80 to 120 kph ang mga speed limits sa mga highways that I drive on sa China.

It will be a good car for your wife. The steering is electronic so it is very easy to drive and park.

Is it true that Swift will change its looks soon? I plan to purchase a Swift sana in the next few months pero kung magbabago na pala ang looks nya sa near future, wag na lang...

sa price range ang dami pagpipilian. kung sa dalawa lang na yan well ill get the 3 tapos popormahan ko pa yan to make it look like a wrc car haha! kaso kung tag tipid lang at solo driving always gagawin ko siguro id go for the swift. lakas kasi ng 3 sa gas kumpara sa swift. swift if loner or 1-2 people man lang hehe. 3 kung sporty driving talaga tapos more than 1 passengers. pero kung wala ka talaga dapat iworry then go 3 straight ahead

guys i'm planning to trade-in my mazda 3 to a bnew suzuki swift, reason is i really hate my 3's FC. My Best was 10kms per liter, now i average 8.5 kms per liter...ano po ba ang FC ng AT Swift? hope to hear your answer soon as i'll be making my decisions before end of this month. TIA

Re: Mazda 3 = 8.5km/l for a 1.6L car is pretty average for city driving. Expect no miracles there.
