For me, it's healthy to receive information showing flaws and negative side of Ertiga. This would also prepare us on what possible issue that would come out. We shouldn't be blinded by these issues, and dwell on the issue not on the "issue messenger." On the end of the day, if we experience such issue, kanino rin ba tayo magtatanong? They will be our reference in the 1st place.

No worries. Alam kong maraming ganyang SA na walang magawa kundi manira ng ibang brand para brand nila ang bibilhin. I already experienced that with Mitsubishi over Suzuki when I'm still in the process of replacing our APV (long story :D ). But please that's not my case ;) Also I don't think lemon tong nabili naming sasakyan. Nagkataon lang siguro na may mga issues. Yung squeaky sound sa rear aircon kung dadaan sa rough road eh pa balik-balik. Siguro I will just get used to it for the meantime while nasa break-in period pa else dadalhin ko nalang sa casa.

Mas maganda po kung i consult nu na kagad sa dealer baka mas lalo lumala..

naming the dealer here would definitely be a plus as other buyers would have less hassle na in buying the ertiga
more roaming ertigas in manila = more support from suzuki ... i hope )

saw 1 thread na nag thanksgiving party un suzuki (or dealer ata) for all ertiga buyers sa indonesia

pero honestly speaking, araw araw ako ngtravel by bus sa edsa pero wala pa ko nakita ba ertiga. sa mall lang ako nakakita. hehe

Mas maganda po kung i consult nu na kagad sa dealer baka mas lalo lumala..

Dinala ko na lang talaga sa casa kanina kasi di ko na matiis yung squeaky sound sa rear aircon. Kahit anong gawin kong deadma, irritating talaga. Tinestdrive nila kanina para lang ma confirm yung issue at yun nga problema talaga at kailangan nilang i-fix in 3 days daw (Warranty claim). Ang tagal! . Ang malas naman. Sakin pa napunta mga issues ng brand new car :D
Anyway, I will update you guys of the outcome of their said "fix".

Headlight moisture -> Rear aircon squeaky sound -> Sana wala nang susunod

Because of my curiosity, I browsed again the Team BHP forum if any of our fellow Indian Ertigans experienced this squeaky noise from the rear A/C. And I found these:

I agree with you King_Louise that is why I didnt mention any name on my last post. Not intended to offend anyone. We have to understand that there are some people who only intend to give false feedbacks with no basis for the sake of saving the other brand. I hope I make sense here.

Anyway, mine just had its 1st PMS earlier. I paid Php 1270 for the oil since Labor and Oil Filter are free. Kudos to Suzuki Sucat on their effort to wash my car (some Casas won't do that). I had them checked my headlight as well because I have the same situation with brandobandit (moisture issue), but my bad, I forgot to ask the mechanic on what problem they found because I was on a hurry. My free seat cover has not yet arrived but I can wait since I have already bought a set of customized leather seats. I also noticed that my door handle (driver side) is loose so whenever I open the door, the handle hits and scratches the door panel. I will have it checked once I get back to the Casa. With regards to the fog lamp, previously I asked here if it's possible to use the Swift's foglamp and attach the actual lamp directly to the Ertiga's Foglamp moulding. As per the mechanic, they are not yet familiar with the Ertiga specially with the wirings so they will get back to me. I'll check with my brother (he is a seaman), if he is based in Indonesia then I will just ask him to buy me a pair of foglamp. My SA told me he will also check at the plant if those lamps are available. If any of you guys knows where to source a foglamp here in PH, please let us know. Thanks!

Sana maayos issues ng unit mo sir brandobandit. Anyone who invested substantial money for a brand new unit deserves well. Anyways let's help each other by sharing our experience with our LUV! On the side note, i'm still waiting for my granite grey unit, ang tagal..... :-(

I am interested to hear more about the Ertiga. Currently I am looking for new car to replace our old family car which had served us well for the past 4 years. Baka by December, we will go for the Ertiga.

Regarding your trip going to Baguio. I am sure your drive going there is a new experience to you. I am interested to know how many passengers did you have and if you had luggage to bring on. I usually go to Baguio every year travelling on a full load of 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids).

Hello Po baka makatulong sa pagdedeside nyo, Just bought my Ertiga yesterday sa suzuki kalookan and drove it all the way to Baguio....break-in...woooohooo sobrang smooth ng ride, ganda ng consumption...nung nasa rosario la union na kami bago umak yat nag check na ako FC...15km/L nacompute ko na fc(full-tank computation po) di ko nakita ung FC reading ng ertiga kasi di ko pa alam that time na meron syang build in..di po kami lumampas gaano ng 80KPH sa NLEX except pagnagovertake..ang lakas ng hatak kahit bus makipaghabulan pa kami..pero break-in palang kaya ayun todo pigil..napaabot namin one time sa 100kph..walang kahit anong vibration sa loob except siguro ung dibdib ko sa kaba hahaha...medyo low profile kasi sya compare sa ibang mga MPV kaya masmataas mga innova na kasabayan sa daan....til nakaakyat kami baguio smooth ang lakas ng hatak ng makina..dahil first time ko siguro mag drive ng FWD...mag back track ako sa thread na ito para malaman pa ibang mga naexperience nyo....

GA model lang kinuha ko kasi yun lang kaya ng budget...nag bank financing ako kasi mas mura ng malayo sa in-house I suggest security bank po..sa lahat ng napuntahan ko na bank sila pinaka mababa interest...then nakakuha ako malaking cash discount sa car dealer ko na si marlon ng suzuki caloocan, ok po sya kausap(oh ayan marlon baka magka new customer ka dahil sa post ko na ito hehe)...

after 1st PMS observation na nareport ko sa service center:

power has improved, but fuel consumption is not. before the 1st PMS, i recorded 12.3km/l pero ngayon 11.5km/l nalang. same lang gamit at routa; bahay-skol/ofc/church.
poor unit cleaning; body, engine, interior. ang company service vehicle namin sa ofc (toyota & ford) ang linis ng unit after PMS, sa ford may free bottled water pa.
my 2 concerns that were addressed: 1) fixed the gas cover kasi parang mis-aligned. 2) noisy sounds on gearing at 2nd, 3rd & 4th gears.

ang hindi nila ma-address: ang pina-adjust kong delay sa interior lights na merong 15 seconds bago mamatay, na mag-trigger ng bugos alarm sa alarm system ng unit. sa manual, nakalagay 15 seconds talaga so ibig sabihin, ito ay programmable. pero ang sagot nila, sa pinakabit ko daw na alarm system ang problema ang dapat i-program which is nakabit ng 3rd party. pero ang naikabit na alarm system ay parang oem lang. ewan ko ba?

Sad to say boss, Suzuki Mechanics are not yet THAT familiar with this car (Ertiga) compared sa mga nauna nang Suzuki Cars. Naiintindihan ko naman na bago lang to sa Pinas. Buti honest naman ang mga mechanic though gamay naman na nila ang makina since same engine sya with the previous swift so wala akong problema dun. Sabi ng mechanic kanina dun sa Suzuki Sucat, di pa sila ganon kafamiliar sa wirings ng Ertiga but for sure they are now on training. Sooner maayos din yan pero pansin ko wala tayong problema sa makina. Nakikita kong nega feedback dito is basic electronics, headlight moisture and yung pagka-intact ng mga parts whcih is tolerale naman ang na-address agad ng Suzuki Branches.

Boss you may back read our posts may mga nag break in na ng units dito. Ako kasi kaka 1000kms pa lang so yung mga unang break in ko eh mejo malapit lang (Cavite-Antipolo VV and Cavite-Batangas-Tagaytay VV). Lahat yun may mga paahon and punuan ako at max speed of 80 kms/hr. Wala akong naging problema lalu na sa hatak, comfortability and fuel efficiency. What more pag nabatak pa ang makina sa next break in ko? (Planning to go to Baguio with my 6 travel buddies) For sure mas mag improve pa sya. I suggest boss kumuha ka na ASAP kasi nagbu-boom na sya, mas higher and demand mas mahaba ang pila.

I did run my ertiga on nlex and sctex 140kph. Sagutan kami ng bilis ng tucson. Nakipaglaro din siya. Smooth, walang kaingay ingay ang makina. Full capacity si ertiga 7 kami.

Ser kung naka automatic trans ka OO mejo boring nga I-drive yan sa highway. Dati kong auto was AT kaya shift ako to manual para may thrill sa pag drive. Thumbs up ser na-achieve nyo agad ang 140 km/hr ako parang takot pa magtest ng max speed.

same here few ertigas, what i see mostly are ford ecosports...(un ung ka kabilang decision ko against ertiga)

7 pax to baguio is doable sa ertiga
only problem i see is space for luggage
unless the 5 pax at the back say na payag silang i kandong ung mga bags hehe

max i had so far sa car was 6 adults 2 children ^_^ and with a full tank
still no prob sa handling but ramdam ko bigat when braking... to much momentum haha

afaik, the glx has fog lamps na, wonder why they cant copy the wiring from that unit...
did they say anything about the fog lamp covers? gagawan ba nila paraan or will they force u to buy the orig fog lamp covers na may butas na tlaga?
