Suzuki Ertiga - 7 seater MPV

lagi kse naka set yung reading to real time consumption hehehe


may problem ba if you breakin too late in ownership?

btw, about the aux port problem
di lang pala tayo nawalang ng aux port, pati pala mga indonesian wala rin sa ertiga nila...

may kamukha kse sya na port dun sa ertiga stereo kaya i tried but i think the port is not the same as dun sa s4 stereo (clarion brand)... mine is Panasonic CQ-jz03 etc..

with ports that look like this

sockets from left to right

black-main plug for power/speakers
lt.brown-usb port
small white-unknown
big white-unknown
dk.brown-antenna

any body who knows how to detect ports manually? nag try na ako maghanap ng service manuals and other stuff but ito lang nakita ko lol



pin config ng main port, have a feeling na andito yung aux port
or baka nakatago lang dun sa plastic katabi ng usb natin
kaso di ko matanggal un black plastic sa usb para malaman hehe

same look but parang different un gamit nun port ng panasonic dito
if may makapag hanap lang ng service/field manuals ng stereo nito...

Sir brandobandit,same yung rear AC ng Ertiga sa rear AC ng APV,yung APV namin may ganon din ang ginagawa ko dinidiinan ko lang ng konti as in konti tas nawawala na parang clip lang na di lapat,sabi dati sa casa check nila di ako pumayag kase baka madumihan pa yung headliner eh I hate stains and dirt.haha Pero kung malakas yung sayo pa check mo na baka connection or tube ng AC yan na baka in the long run mag leak.

salamat sir *jyg1995. nagtanong na rin ako sa facebook page ng Maruti Suzuki. ang sabi dun eh lahat daw ng Ertiga meron naman daw talagang squeaky sound sa rear aircon pag tinulak sya pataas (slight lang). Di ko nalang to papacheck sa casa baka ano pa gawin nila. :D

Wala naman ako narinig na rattling sound sa rear aircon ser, pareho kame ni King_Louis mukang sa 3rd row seat lang yung rattling sound pero nawawala din. PA-check mo na lang sa Casa.

ok sir *mangjose81. Pero di ko nalang siguro pa check sa casa baka madumihan pa at kung ano pa gawin nila. Baka lumala lang ang simpleng problema. hehehe :D

dunno what caused the tiny dent it was able to shatter the whole door glass...
yung badtrip pa was i knew the part would take to replace

3weeks in fact (

lessons learned
1. ingatan ang salamin, parang madaling mabasag / ma chip

2. when calling for estimates talk to anybody else rather than the insurance guys sa casa. i talked to the parts guy and he quoted me 2500 (glass, tint, labor) pag dating ko dun 5000 na sya... buti nalang na honor un usuapan namin ng taga parts

3. get insurance! incase you have no choice other than to talk to the insurance guy lol

By the way, sa mga naka Ertiga GL jan na wala pang central lock at alarm na naka install. Yung theft deterrent light din ba'y palaging nagbiblink? Nabasa ko kasi kagabi sa manual na magbiblink lang yung light pag na activate na yung alarm.

I like both the Ertiga and the APV... If it is just a difference of P50K,- then I'd rather go with the APV,- ride height is better, plus it sits one more person,- more comfortably, that is....

Salamat sa mga reply mga sir... Isa pa pong tanong, meron na po ba sa inyo na nag bank financing? Hindi po ba matagal maghintay sa unit? I heard kasi sa ibang dealership eh mas priority nila bigyan agad ng unit mga in house financing

but judging sa size ng basag, maliit na dent and dinaman pumaloob ung window
kaya i have this feeling na marupok at manipis lang yung door glass ng ertiga

i used BDO sa financing ko

i guess you really cant tell sabi kse nila mabagal daw yung pag labas ng plant, or may wait list pa, wala un color na gusto nyo etc...

but i took about 1wk to get my unit and that was in august

i suggest you get the rates of each bank to compare
cheapest rate is usually sa 4 years
i got mine at 5yrs at 27.5% interest

you can haggle this with ur bank din pala
just show them the lowest interest rate you found
sa pagka alam ko u get better chances with the bank if u have a steady account with them na
and u get good standing with them to on your next loan (assuming u have no prob with ur car loan that is)

The 1.6 SOHC APV has more low-down off-throttle torque than the Ertiga... bigger engine, but the Ertiga revs much better.

APV engine is G16A, cousin of the G16B of the first gen Vitara and Esteem, known for low end torque.

Boss, I think 1.6 ang APV and Ertiga is just 1.4. Isa pa, batak na yung APV nyo compared to the brand new Ertiga that you test drove. Fuel consumption-wise, panalo ang Ertiga.

Boss ang matagal is yung processing ng papers sa Batangas Port. Minsan dun natetengga mga unit. Pagdating naman sa Sta. Rosa Plant ng unit eh kaya ng gawan ng paraan ng branch yan para mapabilis ang pagdeliver pero depende sa maglalakad na SA/Manager yan.

Regarding financing, alam ko Toyota lang ang may in-house financing, di ko pa natanong sa iba. Pareho lang yan Boss kahit in-house or banko, basta mabayaran mo ang full DP eh ipriority ka nila. Pero mas makakamura ka kung bank financing, malaki lang hihingin na DP pero mas makakamura ka. Saken 2 days processing lang approved na, mabagal pa yun, usually kaya daw ng 2 hours. Yung iba nagpupunta muna sa bangko to apply tapos pag approved saka pupunta sa car dealer. I suggest dun ka sa bangko na may Savings/Checking Account ka. Additional info lang, PDC's are required sa approved car loan. Correct me if I'm wrong.
