I hope so, else i will be doing something with the reservoir cap. Parts to arrive by next week.

Also replaced worn tyres with 8-ply, plus bought a spare fan. I'm hearing bushing noise na kasi and some play with the shaft, expecting it to give in anytime soon.

Found out also that there are 3 rad fan-motor types. Im guessing the application is for non-AC, single, and dual AC. That explains also why there are 4-3-2 pin connectors.

ahh... so that's the reason why I get that "vibration" when aircon is on as compared as off.. and sometimes hear it louder when in summer traffic.. so its like a 3 speed motor...?

Yup.. Its a multi-speed motor. Saves space from separate fans, acts as cooling fan for both engine rad and AC condenser.

Some parts are ready for pickup, will be installing it on weekends.

A supposedly 30mins replacement and bleeding job turned into a nasty 2hr job.

Yep, i stripped the head of 1 stubborn nut. It's grade 10 and i can't torch it because of fuel lines near the area.

Ended up grinding and customizing a replacement nut.

^ Just a DIY maintenance enthusiast sir. Actually, im also enjoying the troubleshooting part. hehe

    Heres some more..

Damage compliments of a co-worker with heavy hands. She was able to rip the hinge of the handle.

Tube was crushed by a casa mech. It was a last-touch job, but was too late to complain when i noticed it.

And the long overdue antenna replacement.. I do now have a better radio reception.

^ Many possibilities. Could be as simple as fouled spark plug/air cleaner. a failing ignition coil, or fuel contamination to injector problems. Have it diagnosed by a competent mechanic if you cant DIY check the basic items.

Depends, if your fan blade went off or misaligned damaging the rad fins, that will surely add to the cost Mine is having some unusual noise during startup but not so loose to the point that it makes contact with the rad or vibrate.. Thinking of replacing it when the fan starts to wobble, seize, slow down, or die.. Bought the motor only as a reserve and its still in the stockroom..
