Exterior looks good except sa chrome sa rear reflectors.

But the tranny is still 4AT. Meh. Should be at least 6AT or CVT.

    they don't have a 6at in the region(indo/indi)

and they probably don't have access to a new cvt from jatco.

the 4at is reliable..so they'll stick with that...

if you've driven the 4AT 1.5 nissan, its a fantastic combination.

now with suzukis lighter sedan, its gonna be a hooot to drive.

dont worry for something hindi pa naman tapos hehehe...

look at the xpander pricing.. slightly over 1m lng...

even the new ertiga 1.5L will not price itself out of the market...

hehe sabagay. pero kasi yung facelifted ertiga had a 100k pre-train price increase when it came out. from 812k-915k for the GLX, if i'm not mistaken. oh well, for the upgrades, it should be worth it.

Last night I met my friend who owns a Ciaz. Nasa 10K na din ang tinakbo ng Ciaz niya since he bought it just last April. I asked his average km/l based on the onboard electronic fuel economy meter and he answered "12.4". The Ciaz and the Ertiga both have the same engine type, K14B 1.4l. But mine can only achieve 10.6 km/l.

With the incoming facelifted Ciaz sporting the new 1.5l K15B engine, sana it will be as efficient as the current one.

is it possible, that the ertiga is heavier than the ciaz?
is it possible that the ertiga's gearing is designed for carabao araro duty, while the ciaz is for horse-drawn carriage duty?

Actually doc your theory on the weight issue is true and now proven hehe. The Ciaz uses Suzuki's Heartect platform which is simply has a lighter body frame.

Your second theory, I have no substantial knowledge really hehe.

some of the more comprehensive flyer ads i have seen, actually have these gear ratios printed on them, for the more knowledgeable buyers to crunch.
