I normally change gear at 2~2.5k RPM to optimize the fuel consumption. But you make a good point. Will definitely try what you have suggested. Cheers!!!!

bro re: fuel consumption on inclined plane/road, maski na mirage na sobrang tipid lalakas talaga consumption kasi maliit makina. dito kasi lamang mga big displacement cars

so, i checked on the recommended psi found on the inside of the driver side door... 29 psi lang pala s'ya. ang baba pala. all this time, i've been pumping it to 30 psi, smooth naman ride ko.

ako galing kasi 41psi lahat :banghead::banghead:
ginawa ko muna 31psi, tapos after a week gawin kong 30psi, then 29psi a week after (turo ng matatanda)

Nothing wrong with going from 41 to 29 in one shot.. You won't suffer from decompression sickness.. Heh heh.
I did it before, and... nothing happened.

Mag-iba yung feel..? Not really. At least, nothing that will make you drive badly in the slightest.

First, rough ride, second, longer stopping distance, third premature wear on the center of the treads, fourth, directional instability at higher speeds, and most importantly-reduced surface contact between the tires and the road. Remember, the average surface area of tire contact is less than 20 square inches per tire on a compact car. That's less than 80 square inches of rubber your life depends on upon the road

Some entities have this habit of over-inflating tires... tire repair shops... some owners because it lightens the steering wheel..
My personal rule of thumb is, rated psi + 1 or 2 . 'La lang..

parang part na rin sya ng break in diba? full throttle at low rpm during the first few minutes of operation?

Yan ang problem pag dark colored. Yan din problema ko ngaun. Hehe kahit iwax madali talaga makita mga swirls

it is illegal for new cars to be driven on public hiways. first, they don't have insurance yet, second, they are not registered and therefore have no right to be on public roads. just because these einsteins who work moving cars from point A to point B are racing it, it does not make it right and any sensible person who owns the car follow these einsteins

I actually upgraded the wheels to 17" ROTA Titan with 45 series tyres, ride is a bit stiffer than stock but it really has better grips on the twists. I will install side skirts and probably drop the ride height by couple of inches.

ewan ko bro kung ano masama doon sa biglang baba ng psi. basta ako masunuring bata lang hehehe
btw mag 29psi ako siguro sa thursday, 1 week na sya by then. pero feeling ko wala naman masama doon sa biglaan, sa 3 days kong gamit si suki 300++km na ang odo, wala naman problema

will have mine waxed and paint protected sana ng meguairs kasi 50% off sa bf malapit samin along elizalde st. (iirc marco yung owner) mura na ba * 520 php for both?
isip ko lang baka masama kasi bago pa auto, di ko makita manifacture date eh
