Get insurance for CTPL for the same company that you are getting the comprehensive insurance ... it will be much much more convenient when the time comes that you will need to make a claim ... claiming from one insurance company is already a hassle ... claiming from two will be a nightmare ... they will be finger pointing at each other for the cause of the delay ...
Get opinion from a reputable insurance broker and that broker will tell you the same thing ... your choice really ... convenience now or convenience later when you really need it ...
Honest mistake. Madaming ganyan e. Pero if you're really uncomfortable, palitan mo na. Baka puro honest mistake. Haha

Thanks! Very good point, I'll be going to BPI/MS Main Bldg. later today to get CTPL for my car. Really inconvenient that their insurance doesn't have CTPL off the bat, but oh well.
As for the SA, it could be an honest mistake. Good thing this thread exists (as well as the CTPL thread here in Tsikot) I learned a lot and managed to clarify and ask about it. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He is, so far, competent enough. He even arranged a PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection) Personnel to explain the ins and outs of the car as well as the engine, oil, tires (PSI), compatible fuel, etc. which aligns with what I've read so far in this thread.
Just got my Swift yesterday! So happy!
Yun nga lang to follow daw yung rain visor. But the Navi Card is already there kaya patas lang hehe
Also, I've already sent a join request to the Swift 1.2 PH fb group. Thanks
EDIT: Huh, dalawa pala fb group ng suzuki 1.2 ph?
kamusta po availability ng parts lalo na kung taga probinsya? eto isang dahilan kaya nagdadalawang isip ako sa swift eh. my worry is pag more than 5yrs old na yung oto. sobrang attractive kase ng presyo neto kumpara sa jazz plus that mini cooper look

Kumusta ba Suzuki Genuine FS Oil? Kaya ba n'ya every 8 months/10k KMs change oil, with 1 liter top up in between?
Hmm not sure if members of that group are still in this forum.
Wala pang .25L yung sa top up.Gulat ako kasi may ganyang extra 1 liter din ako. Pero ni hindi naubos yung half liter na natira from the initial fill up (kasi 3.5 liters nagamit)
Good day po mga sir at kung may ma'am din. Hehe. I'm deciding on Swift 1.2 MT or Yaris 1.3 MT. I'm leaning more on to the Swift though, for: fuel efficiency and price difference. Yung durability naman cguro depends also on how you use the car, pms and stuff... I am still single po, so the passenger space is not an issue for me as most of the time I'm the only one nakasakay(self-drive) or plus one on the passenger side once in a while and very rarely used ang back seat even with my old car.
My only concern po is that I regularly bike (road bike/tt bike), and usually after my ride is derecho nako work or go do some errands kaya I prefer to put my bike inside the car (I'm currently using a Revo, which is very convenient kasi pasok buong bike with one of the 2nd row seat folded). Could anyone share or confirm if kakasya kaya bike sa swift with the back seat folded and the front tires of the bike removed? Mahirap kasi iwan kung naka bike rack sa labas ng car, coz it would be too flashy for the crooks. hehe.
Saan ka nga nagpapa-change oil, madam? Nung nagtanong kase ako sa Cubao how much top up sa 45k ko, parang hindi sila aware eh. They're insisting to do a change oil kahit FS pinakarga ko sa 40k. Paraki pang FS right?
oh, and where and how much yung Motul?
These casas allow you to bring your own oil:
Pasig
Sucat
LONG STORY.)
Tanggal pa cost ng oil for you since fully synthetic nga.
May mga service advisor na either wala masyadong alam sa kotse or talagang to the letter sumunod sa service menu regardless of the optionals. Tell them na sa ibang casa ka na lang magpapaservice--if this doesn't change their minds about the change oil/top up thing, best to transfer na rin talaga.
Yes, Motul 5w30. I buy from our favorite mechanic/tuner, Autotech (who knows Swifts very well) at 500 per liter. Parts Pro on Facebook also carries Motul, may delivery pa
Aaand sa last question, at my 20k PMS ako lumipat to fully synthetic.
Ayos, sagot lahat ng tanong. Thanks madam!
Try ko sa East Ave muna. Mukhang mas okay SA dun eh. Yung sa Araneta kase, uhm, "by the book".
