Mas malaki ba ang interior ng swift kesa sa vios. May magkasunod kasi kanina sa trafik at ang tingin ko parang mas malaki ang swift
when you look into the abyss, the abyss looks into you
Oo hehe mas malapad yung akin (205/45/17), no rubbing naman. Sa 215 series yung may rubbing na
Almost identical yung exterior na width (1700 mm Vios, 1695mm Swift). For some reason parang mas maluwag yung elbow room sa front ng Swift kesa sa Vios pero no contest pag legroom--maliit talaga sa backseat ng Swift.
went to the suzuki showroom yesterday. my intention was magpa quote ng swift... and while waiting tinignan ko yung mga naka display, yung interiors ng swift and celerio halos makasing laki lang pala... tapos may sensor pa si celerio sa likod at about 100k din ang difference. what are your thougts mga sir?
for me, i'm trying to justify na mas malaki ang engine ni swift, mas may power going up-hills and kung mabigat ang load, looks more sporty which is quite my personality, although on the other side parang practical si celerio? but so far i will stick to swift not unless may makapagsabi sakin that celerio is better than swift aside from the price difference.
parang bumabalik yung decision ko 14yrs ago when I bought my first car galing sa sariling savings (since my very first car was given to me by my dad), i was eyeing for a rav4 then but ended up getting the revo coz of the space, i chose functionality instead of pang porma... di naman ako nag sisi kay revo since it continued to serve me till this day na wala naman sakit ng ulo, except na mahirap i-park sa downtown tapos may mga slots na kakasya ang small car. hehehe.
anyone tried Suzuki's FS oil for at least a couple of full change oils? i'll be coming in for a top up soon, so i'll probably go with casa's fs oil again, pero once that's done, i'm not sure what oil na gagamitin for my next full change oil.
I'm no car expert, just sharing from my observation and experience since I have been driving an MT most of my life, a few times lang with an AT. Bumibigat talaga yung clutch when the car age, lalo na yung sa C240 truck namin sa farm dati na dapat pump mo clutch bago mag shift. Hahahaha. Those were the times, but now with the modern cars and trucks, kaya na i-adjust ng casa or reputable mechanic as to how you want your clutch to be. Kahit mga 6-10 wheels trucks parang mga manual na p-up or auvs na yung clutch, brakes and gas pedals... May suki nako dito sa CDO and he knows yung timpla ng clutch at brakes an gusto ko with my aging revo, cya nag a-adjust whenever i felt na iba na yung timpla ng brakes and clutch for more than 10yrs na din. hehe.![]()
when the clutch becomes heavy, i consider wear and tear:
clutch assembly.
release bearing.
clutch cable.
clutch cylinder.
i do not know if these clutches can be truly softened or hardened, as per customers' wants.
that's just the clutch pedal that they are adjusting.
i do not think, the hardness or softness of the pedal, will be significantly affected by it.
"masusunog...pag sobrang baba... ang kagat?" baka nga, dahil hindi completely dis-engaged ang clutch friction plate when applying the pedal to shift... dudulas... at mas mahirap rin ipasok siguro into gear.
during my 30k pms lang June i asked Casa if cable can be adjusted they said hindi raw ang whole assembly needs to be changed para guma.an ulit yung clutch. ohhh well no car expert here as well. try ko nalang sa iba pag out of warranty na to unit ko this coming december. ^_^
pwede ba e lubricate yung clutch pedal at mga connections (spring, steels) around it?
adjustment, if it can be done at all, is only for itaas o ibaba ng kagat ng clutch pedal.
in the olden days, we would inject lubricating oil into the housing of the clutch cable, to make the clutch light again (best done if the entire cable were detached from the car). it would work, but only after a few days or a couple of weeks, tigas na naman. replacement is the more long-lasting option.
the clutch pedal is easily lubricated via a few drops of oil, or a squirt of squirt-able grease or lubrication (or wd40!), onto the swivel joint. it is easier if one has double-jointed elbows, rubber spine, and stalked eyeballs.
sometimes, tumitigas ang clutch pedal dahil sa wear and tear ng clutch assembly or release bearing. the solution, is $$$ replacement.
