    mga gurus tanong lang, pag nag steer kasi ako ng sagad na going to right may squeeking sound(i dont know the right term) ako naririnig, and i noticed na basa yung hose connected sa power steering tank, pero hindi naman nababawasan yung power steering fluid ko. connected kaya yung squeeking sound na yun dun? o may iba pa kayo idea? what might be the problem? and how much kaya ang cost nito, para pag nagpagawa ako may naka ready na ako cash.. TIA

    sir baka sa fambelt mo karamihan kasi ng car ganun pag sagad ang steer kung hindi lalangitgit e bumababa ang rpm


    kung hindi pa naman dapat palitan at maiiwasan iliko ng todo diba??

    If you steer your wheel lock to lock natural ang power steering ay iingay dahil you have reach the maximum turning radius ng sasakyan mo.

    At yong basa sa hose next to the power steering reservoir maaring over fill ang reservoir mo. Punasan mo yong hose and the reservoir drive it for awhile then trace with your finger kung saan galing ang leak. Kapag ang power steering nag-iingay kahit kunting kabig, "bleed it" or check the belt might need to adjust.

    ps hoses na orig tend to be expensive kahit na maikli lang. short hoses will run mga 5-600 where longer ones can be 1-2000 depending on the car.

    sir, bago na fanbelt ko sinabay ko na dati nung nagpalit ako ng timing belt.

    yes sir sagad as in lock to lock, pag going to right lang naman may squeeking sound pero pag going to left na sagad wala naman. pag lumiliko ako sa right na hindi ko sinasagad ayos lang walang problema walang ingay, pero pag na reached nya na yung pinaka dulo yung hindi mo na maiikot dun na umiingay mawawala lang yung ingay pag kinabig mo na pa kaliwa.

    wala naman ingay ang power steering ko kahit konting kabig, as i mention above pag pinaka sagad lang going to right.

    maybe one of these days dalhin ko na lang po sa shop nyo pag hindi na busy.

    Thank you mga sir for the inputs, naghihinayang kasi ako sa gastos mukhang ok pa naman ata yung hose ko kasi di naman nagbabawas ng power steering fluid. ang concern ko lang talaga yung ingay na naririnig ko. kung dun yung problema, talagang kelangan ko nga palitan.

    have you checked the belts kung maluwag. it could be that also.

    mga sir, un hose ng power steering ko may leak, magkano kaya ang magagastos pag pinagawa ito. may maliit na circle yun location ng leak malapit (1cm) sa "joint". puede kaya cut lang then connect ulit sa joint ?

    You could try, but not recommended. Better replace w/ new hose.

    baka kulangin yun gamit mo pag DIY. pwede mo ipagawa sa mga gumgawa ng hydraulic hose.

    ganyan ganyan din ang butas ng sentra (2000 STA) ko just today....
    pahalng ang butas na parang hiniwa ng blade na maliit... sa tabi din ng joint. kapapacheck up ko lang sa casa 2 weeks ago,
    baka kaya binutasan sa casa... ???

    dalhin mo lang yung hose mo sa mga "power steering hose" shops.. they have the proper hose and fittings for your ride... also they have the right tools needed as you cannot DIY the hose repair.. your hose is CRIMPED and uses high quality hose since power steering operates under high pressure.. repair will cost 1k up.. oem hose cost around 4k to 5k...

    it is normal in the first use of the brandnew hose your will hear vibration sound (ugong) but that is just caused of the brandnew hose.. once it bends naturally the sound will go away...

    also it is normal that when you turn the steering all the way on any direction, you will hear vibration sound since the pump is struggling to give pressure to your rack and pinion eventhough the steering is in full turn, this can damage your power steering system...you should turn the steering wheel back a little to relieve the pressure.. It is clearly written on your owners manual (if you have) i suggest you read it..

    Naka on ba ACU mo when this happens? try mo off yung ACU at steer ka ng sagad sa right kung mawala yung squeeking sound.

    nagawa na rin sa wakas un power steering hose ng car ko,
    dinala ko sa "power steering hose shop" then crimp lang nila un hose (less than 30 mins) then kabit doon sa kotse (mazda 323 familia).....

    new hose + crimping - 1,225.00
    labor + ATF Fluid - 600.00
    TOTAL = 1,825.00

    heto naman un estimate sa ZAFRA

    hose "replacement" - 4,200.00
    labor - 750.00
    TOTAL = 4,950.00 (di pa kasama ATF dito )

    pag orig daw - 7,800.00

    Nagtanong naman sa iba :
    Original Power Steering Hose sa Pasay Rotonda - 4,500.00

    pag bumigay ulit, palitan ko na ng original..hehehe !

    hindi na bibigay yan basta basta... pinapalitan mo ba yung fittings?? kasi baka yung ang sumunod na masira...

    wag mo kasi ililiko ng sagad yung manibela mo para hindi mag build-up ng high pressure yung system.. kapag nag turn ka ng sagad (u-turn) ibalik mo ng konti (mga 1inch turn back) yung manibela para ma-relieve yung pressure

    ganyan nga sir ginagawa ko pag-sumagad ang kabig bawi agad ( un din ang sabi ng manual). un fitting ba sir ang pinagkakapitan ng hose ? pinalitan din un, magkabilang dulo. tama ka sir, pagnakapihit ng todo, doon mo lang maririnig ang ugong pero pag binalik ng konti wala naman.
