One more thing po, I've noticed na mabula yung fluid inside the reservoir. Parang softdrinks.

Air bubbles in the reservoir
- Check for crushed inlet hose or a loose hose clamp allowing air into the suction side of the system.
- Check for cracks in reservoir
Pump
- Front seal leaking > Replace front seal
- Pump housing leaks at either end > Replace the housing O-rings. If the housing still leaks, replace the pump.
Pump outlet hose (High-pressure)
- Leaking at the threaded fitting > Tighten the fitting. If it's still leaking, replace the O-ring or pump outlet hose.
- Leaking at the swaged point > Replace the pump outlet hose
Pump inlet hose (Low-pressure)
- Leaking because of damage, deterioration of improper assembly > Replace or repair as necessary

Thanks for the help. I called Mang Toto and he said it's the PS pump that needs to be replaced. Another whooping 9,000 for the surplus lang. Anyone knows where to get a cheaper part? Also, is mang Toto really that reliable? :-(

If I may add, sabi nung mechanic in our area, pump na nga daw talaga kasi puro gasgas na daw. Ganun ba talaga yun? Pag gasgas need palitan?

Pano nya nalaman na gasgas? Pinabaklas mo ba yung pump?
Then make sure to put genuine Honda PSF when you get your "new" pump. Additionally, drain-replace when necessary to avoid dirty PSF circulating in your pump.
This thread is really heaven sent! I questioned the mechanic kung pump na talaga. Sabi ko it could be another leak or baka need i-bleed. Binaba nya yung pump, may leak ang oil seal. Pinalitan na ng oil seal and it worked! Pero it's not that magaan parang dati. I'll make sure to canvass na din sa banawe. Thank you sa lahat ng tumulong!

the pump can be tested without removing from engine using a fluid compression gauge. hindi lahat ng auto shops ay meron nito. the Honda casa for sure will have this but of course mas mahal din bayad.
according to CRV service manual, the fluid pressure should be:
with pressure control valve fully open = less than 213 PSI
if reading is above 213 PSI, check outlet hose and valve body
with pressure control valve fully close = at least 1,000 to 1,140 PSI
if reading is below 1,000 PSI, repair or replace the pump
if worn out na ang components ng pump, no use to salvage it since operation is already compromised. replace it as soon as possible.

*red_one can you recommend a shop that can do such? Btw, your inputs helped a lot. Thank you so much!
