Can you identify the vehicle?
Can you post the before and after alignment angle readings for analysis?
If you have the needed readings (angles), it would be so easy doing diagnoses even miles away.

January 7th, 2018 03:56 PM #5tires might be out of round.
you won't find out if you won't look for it.
"un-mount the wheel and roll it on a flat concrete surface. if it won't roll straight, then it is probably out of round."
errr... has the vehicle been in a significant accident that might have affected its suspension or body geometry?

There is a distinction between leading or drifting and pulling. Google the differences.
When does the symptom happen a. during acceleration
b. during decelaration or braking
c. while coasting?

January 7th, 2018 04:45 PM #7Car is toyota innova 2012 diesel
Wala na yung reading. Did not got a picture of the result. Thinking it would be ok after alignment.
It had no history of major acciden.
Only minor scratches.
Will try the out of roundness test.
But i not sure if that is the problem. Because the mechanic there swap the front right tire to the front left tire. And still it steer to the right.
On steady speed it will veer to right.
The steering wheel turn about 5 to 10 degrees by it self.
When stopping to a halt. Without touching the steering wheel, it rest to about 5 to 10 degree turn to the right. Same as on driving on steady speed.
For the brake calipers. The mechanics at motech did not check it. They just align it twice and gave up.
In the end they said "sir ganun talaga minsan di maayus dito. Derecho pasok nyo po sa casa. Pero di ko naman kayo charge ng alignment. Wala po kayo babayaran"

There are procedures to follow and pre alignment checks prior to performing alignment angles reading and correction.
Check tires pressure size, age, condition, wear pattern.
Check wheel bearings for proper adjustment
Check brakes for dragging
Place vehicle at curb weight
Measure ride height left and right front and back
Check rear camber
Check rear toe
Check front camber
Check caster
Check front cross camber
Check front cross caster
Check steering axis inclination
Check toe out on turns
Check thrust angle
Check front toe.
Check front wheel setback
Check steering wheel over center adjustment
In that sequence.Last edited by jick.cejoco; January 7th, 2018 at 05:02 PM.
Getting a toyota would be ideal mostly for those looking for practicality or one who will use it...
