Discounts are even higher, go, go, go!!!
From Topgear:
But that's not all we learned. Because an all-new Forester is arriving next year, Luyun said they are selling their remaining stock of the previous-generation Forester with big discounts. The top-of-the-line 2.5 XT variant is now P200,000 cheaper, and the 2.0 XS variant can be had for P150,000 less. That means the XT's price is now reduced from P1,768,000 to P1,568,000, and the XS's price is slashed from P1,398,000 to P1,248,000.
Luyun said these prices are in effect until MIP runs out of stock. As you read this, there are about 25 XT and 130 XS units left.

ano po pala payment terms to avail of discount? cash lang po ba or even bank financing? how about yung 50% 24 months 0 interest, kasi last november wala discount kung ganito terms. thanks.

Tama ka. If you get the 24 months promo, you won't get the discount.
You need to pay cash, in-house or bank financing to avail of discount.

Is there a way to program the door lock function such that when you turn the key to turn on the engine or if you start driving, the door locks will engage?

When I got my FXT in 2011, I found out that it didn't have an alarm, only an engine immobilizer. I had MI Global City install an after-market alarm and program the doors to lock after turning the ignition to the "on" position and unlock when switching off. Best part is, the alarm switch is programed with the original keys so there's no need for an additional remote control. Btw, with other alarm brands, you can have the doors programed to lock after...
a) Turning on the ignition switch
b) When stepping on the brakes prior to shifting (for AT)
c) When disengaging the handbrake
Found out about this when a friend replaced the alarm in his old CRV. He chose option B.
