I replaced the brake bulbs twice already. driving XV 2013. I also noticed 3~5 XVs already on EDSA/C5 having busted brake lights... small issue though but annoying for me... OC lang talaga ako pagdating sa mga ilaw..

nope, totally different problem from mine. One of my front left hub bolt wasn't sheared, it was stripped, or na-loose thread so di na pwd gamitin, need to replace with a new stud. Buti na lang mura pagawa sa fusion r... pero bumili na rin ako sa casa ng spare stud and nut... 250 for the stud, 150 for the nut.... sa fusion r, 200 for labor and materials plus 100 tip for the mechanic

my other problem is persistent loosening of 2 studs on my right front wheel so pinapa-check ko na lang lagi, i bought a torque wrench na...

Hello sir. Do all the stud bolts for all models have the same torque specs? If so, can you kindly share the data? Thank you in advance.

in a few days my brand new WRX CVT is inbound from MI GH and i have no plans to have it repaired or PMS'd at MI and follow a downloaded PMS schedule from subaru. so, i need all the data i can get.

Hi do you have any idea about bgc casa? Cause i bring my xv earlier for the 10 thousand kms, then they want to change my roter and breakpad kasi pudpud na na raw total amount of 30k including the basic check up. Thanks

Weird lang kasi 10k pa lang un takbo pudpud na raw agad.

Hello. I have a Subaru XV I bought February 2013. For the past few weeks I've been hearing a weak motor-like sound coming from the front, I can't pinpoint where it is coming from because it only makes a sound if the car is moving. Dinala ko sa Subaru Global City, 1 week na hindi pa din tapos. Sabi nila sa CVT daw galing ang ingay. CVTs are usually not fixed but replaced. Cost could reach 500K, unfortunately 7 months lapsed na ang warranty. Tama po ba ganoon kalaki ang presyo ng CVT replacement? Parang sobra unfair na 3 years lang ang warranty ng piyesa na kalahating milyon ang presyo.

Sounds like a wrong cvt fluid was used.

Plan ahead and put money aside for timing belt and associated parts replacement! These engines are interference type. If the belt breaks or slips, severe engine damage are more than likely.

its not OC, its being responsible...

sa ilaw makikita mo kung sino ang hindi sa casa nag papa service, kase kung sa casa yan, automatic palit agad yan once dumaan sa checklist na pundido yong ilaw, syempre bago mo dalin sa casa ikaw na mag palit or else syempre sisignilin ka ng casa for an overpriced bulb...

Sorry for my ignorance, pero covered ba ng comprehensive insurance with AOG ang defective vehicle parts? I'm still waiting for insurance agent's response and the insurance policy is inside the car at the shop...

How many kilometers?

How often have you replaced the transmission fluid? Should do it every 20-40k kilometers, AFAIK, to ensure the transmission stays healthy.

usually transmission fluid is replaced after 100k km of use. this is the reason im hesitant to own a cvt/at car. im afraid cvts will not last longer than mt. my xv has 40k kms in the odometer and still in perfect condition.

Yan ang mali sa karamihan. Guessing and generalizing 100k? Why not read owners manual... naka sulat naman

Do you still go to the casa for maintenance? Almost all XV owners i know had their CVTs flushed at 40k..

I've been informed that in my next PMS (later this year), I may already have to replace the stabilizer link and stabilizer bushing. Forester 2012 at 30,000km, 4 y 3months old.
