Pag ganito kalapit, medyo half ng plate ang nakikita, pro pag medyo malayo ng onti, ok lang. been testing it to Makati, so far so good. Re fog lamp cover, i'll try and find one. thanks for the advice.

Finally got my fender flares at goldcars.... got it for 7.5K. mas mura sa genevieve 7K lang...

hay that would be the 1st and the last time i will be visiting/buying a stuff from that shop!

the service was really horrible! before i went there i called them to check if they have fender flares on stock and how much.... i asked them what time is their closing time since we still have a patient yesterday. the girl (betty or becky) told me it would be wise if i go there around 4pm because its abit difficult to install the flares she said. so what we did was we canceled our afternoon appointment just to be there at 4pm.

we made it at exactly 4pm. betty/becky told me that they will just going to get the fender flares form their warehouse. forgot the name of the place but she said that its just at the other side of banawe. so i said its ok...

After 1 hour of waiting still no fender flares. i kept asking her what time will it arrive, she just kept saying "malapit na po sir". 1hr 20min (5:20pm) the flares arrived! atlast........ i was excited to see it being installed.... sadly another set back... all of their installer are busy fixing other cars which some of them just recently arrived.

i again kept on asking her what time will it be installed... as usual, sir malapit na po andyan na po yung installer...

after another 1 hour the installer came (6:20pm) wow! the shop is close already and almost all of them are excited to go home...... one of the installer had accidentally drape a super glue on one of the fender flare.... wow quality work huh?! it took them another 1 hour to finish the whole install.... its almost quarter to 8!!! grr......

Its ok for me to wait but the problem is they kept on saying that its there, its coming, just wait alil longer etc. then all of a sudden you noticed that you where waiting there for more than an hour! if i was not parked inside i'll just look else where... the lady even told me that the reason why it took them so long is because its a holiday. i mean please dont give me that excuse!!!! I know its a holiday but if she gave me an accurate answer to the questions that i was asking her, i will not go irate! im not stupid! STUPID!

they had me! cant go out since they have my keys and theres alot of cars parked infront of me. plus they wasted 2 hours of my day.

Man that will be the first and the last time i will go there! they didnt even gave me a discount! kept on saying that its cheap, they had it body colored from the warehouse etc.... was not born yesterday lady!!!! newly painted in less than an hour? WOW!!!!

sorry guys for the long write up.... am really pissed! this was the first time i encountered such service... totally not worth the trip! a complete waste of time!

anyways heres my strada with the new fender flares.






still need to repaint it since its abit off.... anyway i will have my fog lamps, rear door handle and trunk bed molding painted red as well. sasabay ko nalang...

Mga sir, I need your experties. Litong-lito na kasi ako eh..
mag order na po ako ng Strada GLX next month. White ang gusto ko. pero iba-iba ang shade na white na available sa mga dealer na natanungan ko. Lahat sila isa lang daw ang available na color kahit by order.

Diamond Motors Valle Verde - Fairy White (parang yellowish)
Citimotors Makati - Aspen White (parang pure white)
Jabes Motors Cavite - Savana White (parang dirty white)

does this mean that the color available are different per dealer? what are your comments on these shades of white? in your opinion, which is better? I will appreciate any avise you can give me to help me decide. TIA

Naku bro...sorry to hear that... kasi most of the bosbs talaga dun nagpakabit ng flares and most of them naman is really satisfied. So I thought they would do the same to you....haay...Sh*t happens talaga...

Well, thats another proof na talagang hindi lahat ng oras maiiwasan ang Crappy Workmanship kahit na gaano pa talaga ka credible ang shop....

But since you've posted it here malaking negative effect narin ito sa GOLDCARS...yung hindi nila pag aasure ng customer satisfaction....

But if you ask me...regarding sa paint pwede mo ibalik yan....and you can demand repainting of the fender flares ....kitang kita naman kasi na off talaga yung kulay....darker shade yung nasa fenders...

and If I may suggest...wag mo na isama sa body color yung foglamp shroud...IMO it looks better....may mga nakikita nga ako GLS and GLS sport ginagawa pa nilang black yun eh...hehe...or better siguro if CF sticker or paint it with semi gloss na black para lalo mag stand out...

i agree, wag mo na papaint yung foglight, ako nga pinapaint ko pa ng gray to hightlight the difference. you either return the flares to be repainted or papaint mo nalang sa iba if bad trip ka na sa kanila....ako din i have some minor bad experiences sa goldcars, kaya di na din me bumalik.

Its ok bro.... like what i said. naka punta na ako sa goldcars before i read your PM. either way walang kaso yun.... like what you said Sh!t happens.... regarding sa color ng fender flares hehehe papapintahan ko nalang dito sa amin kesa bumalik pa ako dun.... dein na talaga ako babalik dun... malamng pag bumalik ako dun para ipa repaint baka abutin pa ako ng 10days dun. as for the foglamp shroud, gloss black is good idea.... puwede pa i-DIY... how about the bumpers? ok kaya na ipa silver ko pa yun o gloss black ko nalang din?!

not exactly doc.... gusto ko lang na maiba yung itsura niya from other glx na nakikita ko sa daan. kaya din body color na flares yung kinuha ko para medyo maiba din naman. yung sa fog lamps ok yung suggestion ni LR777 na gloss black...

naisip ko na rin ang CF look sa shroud. pati yung sa door handle sa likod. kaso parang mahirap i-apply. saka medyo poser ang dating.... pero ok sana.
