Strada PMS thread [continued]

Mga sir tanong lang sa gulong. I've a Dunlop Grantrek AT3 that's 2years old but has only been used for less than 2kilometers because its the spare. Ok lang ba na gamitin ito kasabay ng 3bagong gulong? O delikado na dahil sa edad?

Saka may sumubok na ba gayahin 'yung aircon filter set-up ng MSCP? Please post pics,thanks!

parekoy, normally i'd say no to this setup pero i don't know what your spare tire looks like right now so it's hard to say, usually you have to check for the wear on the older tire, kasi dalawang bagay lang naman ang mangyayari diyan eh, masisira kagad ang mas lumang gulong o sisirain yung bago na katambal nito(opposite side)

practice namin dito sa shop ko kasi eh reserba is reserba pag nagpalit na ng bago na goma.

kaya dapat yung tire rotation consistent palagi, every change oil dapat ginagawa yunpara mapantay ang ubos ng mga gulong including the spare

I'm using Hurricane Brand, so far wala naman hassle sa part ko. 6 months ko na gamit and ok naman lalo na in-temrs of cleaning kasi water lang ang toothbrush ayus na... no need to worry kung mabubutas kasi stainless steel kaya matibay...

review ko lang yun, feel free to add kung may review kayong iba...hehehe

Sir may nabasa ako na yung owner ng pajero gumamit ng malabnaw na motor oil and pag-abot ng 60km plus ng mileage ay ngkakatok na daw engine...and sinabi din po ng co-faculty ko dito SLU na ang masyadong malabnaw na motor-oil ay medyo delikado sa engine dahil ala na sya protection at ang egr lang naman ay para sa heating intake ng engine para pagnagcompression na ay mainit na sya for us diesel users....but then its better to follow the required field of motor oil. Thats why ok na yung 10w40 na synthetic po or 15w40 synthetic.may lecture notes me ng CRDI po if gusto nu po makakuha....just give me your email po. Shared information lang po not to cause a discussion.thank you.

mga sir due for 1,000KM PMS ung GLX ko, anu bang brand ang maigi gamiting ordinary oil na SAE15w-40? OK ba Trekker? plan to use synthetic on the 10,000km..TIA

Share ko lang yung incident na nangyari sa friend ko na soon to be member of our club. He scheduled his strada for pms sa citimotors-alabang and he told the service advisor about the problem of his strada na when he reach 80kmh bigla na lang nagdodown power yung strada at nawawalan ng hatak, so yung service advisor told him na check muna yung sira nung truck niya advise na lang siya kung ano sira. Then nung afternoon, sinabihan na siya na pwede ng makuha yung truck niya the following day kase okey na daw. My friend don't know kung ano yung pinalitan kase ang alam lang niya is magdrive lang ng sasakyan. The next day, kinuha na niya yung truck niya and sabe niya okey naman daw yung hatak at bumalik na sa normal, then after a week bigla na lang nawalan nanaman ng hataka at mukhang bumalik nanaman sa dati, so he decided to consult me kung what happened to his truck. I told him baka SCV yan kase I remember ganon yung case na nangyari kay VP-SAEL nung kinuha namen si Azul sa AMCAR. My friend told me na hindi siya sure kung napalitan yung SCV niya nung last pms kase basta sabe lang ng service advisor na gawa na yung unit niya, so tiwala siya na okey na nga yung truck niya. I asked the help from our fellow bosb KIMOSPEED kase alam ko siya yung may kilala sa casa na yon and he called the casa and asked for the last pms of the truck of my friend. Kimospeed found out that the SCV has been replaced by the casa. Yung problem ngayon is kung i-cocover pa nila yung repair and replacement ng scv kung sakali yun pa rin ang sira kase natapos na yung 3 years warranty ng truck ng friend ko after the last pms. We'll keep you posted guys kung ano susunod na mangyayari kase next week ipapasok nanamen yung truck ng friend ko sa casa and this coming thursday fellow bosb nanaten siya kase magpapamember na siya. If anyone who has the same problem, do not hesitate to contact our fellow bosb. Special thanks to KIMOSPEED.

naku Bro, dont thank me yet, hindi pa natin nareresolve yung issue ng "Soon to be Member" natin... I will schedule another call next week sa Parts supervisor para sa schedule ng pick-up ng friend mo... Hopefully maka claim pa tyo kahit tapos na warranty.

been back reading here in your thread for quite sometime na,i originally wanted an innova, pero dahil dito sa thread nyo and with your help i eventually shift to Strada glx 2.5(thanks po sa inyo i came up with the right decision) and his already for 1k PMS.. pls advice kung ok lang mag PMS sa AMCAR-Starosa,laguna (anyone knows their service? Good or bad?) i got my unit sa CITIMOTORS-Makati? can i go directly o walk-in kahit wala ako SA dun? sensya na po newbie po, my first new car and not particular sa mga casa, takot nga po ako maloko sa casa e...., i really want to join your Strada Club i find it very helpfull, from Carmona Cavite po ako....tnx

parekoy, well the arrangement with mitsubishi motors and their dealers is that you SHOULD be able to bring your unit to any dealer and the warranty will still be applicable. take note on the should part.

na as far as amcar is concerned, let's wait for the south boys on what they have to say.

by the way, you made a wise choice on your first vehicle purchase!!!

Congrats on your new truck sir, you made the right decision. I've tried AMCAR in Sta Rosa, so far, I have no problems with them or their service. Less cars being serviced there, meaning, faster service.

As people mentioned here, you can get your car serviced at any accredited Mitsubishi dealership, and likewise, have your warrantied at any dealers.

Just had my 45k PMS yesterday. It was only due for topup but may amoy na yung exhaust, so I decided to change oil. Based on the reviews here, I decided also to change from TurboXP to Royal Purple.

Nung chinek ko kanina after running around 15 kms, kasi gusto ko makita yung purple color ng oil, maitim na yung oil. Normal lang ba ito? Or baka hindi na flush ng maayos ng casa? TIA
