Paadvise naman po kung sakaling mawala nga yung pagpasok ng amoy pag nacleaning na para masabihan ko din yung casa ko na ganon ang gawin sa ride ko. Hindi ko lang alam kung magkano aabutin yon. Paadvise na din kung saan casa mo ipasok yung ride mo and how much. Thanks.

TIA

Hi guys... its been awhile since i last visited the site.

just want to ask for some opinion. i'll be having my 10,000KM PMS maybe this week. dapat last week pa. mag 11,000KM na nga odo ko eh. wala lang kasi akong time.

sino sa inyo nag papa service sa may diamond motors sa may perpetual Las pinas? kasi yung casa ko is sa alabang westgate eh medyo di talaga makahanap ng time para sadyain ko sila. since my office is at the opposite side of zapote mas accessible sa akin sana yung sa perps. kaso i dont know kung ok ang service nila.

any feedbacks or recommendation kung sinong SA ang puwede ko hanapin or contactin para sa kanya ko na ipa ubaya yung strada ko? mas malapit kasi ito sa office ko. i can leave it there bago pumasok then daanan ko nalang pag uwi. may nakapag sabi kasi sa akin di daw ok service dun.

    thanks guys.

Oh btw. ok lang din naman kung pa check ko yung scv ko no and pa linis ko yung egr? also may times na pag bumanat ako ng konti may foul smell na na lumalabas sa aircon vent ko.

Bro, I just had my 15km PMS there, Citimotors Las Pinas, across Perpetual. My SA there was Teddy, and ok naman ang naging service nila.

regarding the warranty coverage, if i remember correctly, warranty for the a/c is only 1 year and does not cover cleaning.

usuall problem naman kasi eh nabubutas ang mga evaporator dahil sa dumi na nahihigop sa loob ng cab, in short usually madumi ang cab.

my strada is 4.5 years old with 90k km on the odo, and the a/c has never been pulled down and still cools as efficiently...fwiw
FYI: here are the pictures of the aircon filter from the last time i met up with Sir The_Engineer:

I saw the a/c filter sa citimotors makati parts department and it looks like an ENGINE air filter ung paper type na parang corrugated (naka zigzag) color white siya. Hindi foam lang.

umm i think the "filter being pointed out here is actually a foam of some sort that is used to muffle sound from the blower motor, kasi i took mine out and that's what i think it is, it is too dense to act as a filter of anything aside from sound, kasi kug air filter siya it souhld be made either from a mat of wooven fiberglass threads or a type of paper element.

pero if that is a filter, then madali na yan palitan nang tama na filter talaga

when i saw the picture, the first impression i got was this was accumulated and compressed dust from the vacuum cleaner... hehehe... in case you will to the DiY task, please update us... so far, these are the only pictures that were taken from The_Engineer's phone.

come to think of it, yeah. the foam is too dense and i doubt it if air can pass through... it could be more of a sound insulator then...

lets wait for the response of sir The_Engineer...

Sir Ian hindi po ito air filter ng aircon, its an insulator lang po ng aircon fan motor to reduce the fan vibration and noise reduction...

Mga sirs, "spacer" lang po yan between the cover and the blower to avoid the vibration and noise from the blower.

Im only sharing to you what is based on Airconditioning system, a blower needs a filter also coz if its not it will get all the dirt inside our cabin and yes it also acts as acoustic filter....mga kapatid sharing ko lang to it does not meant to make me as the technical one....Im not pulling Ian's leg FYI PO!Anyway not create any discussion's already...thanks anyway sa threads ng club...hopefully we could share our insight's....i though na sharing information with our strada's ay hindi kasing contraversial na ganito...Haiz salamat na lang sa inyo....But again im not PULLING IAN'S LEG FYI PO....nagkataon na di lang ako makakuha ng time....but it seems it creates some situations.....More power na lang po sa Club

Actually Lakay Engineer, I think our ninong ng bayan is actually referring to freeway as the one that is pulling your leg hehehe and not you pulling ians (which I think would be very hard to do... peace ian! hahaha!)

to be back on the topic, I just had my 60,000 heavy check up and I personally ask the chief mechanic regarding the filters....and he even pulled out mine....

He told me that the foam under the dash which ian posted was only for the purpose of noise reduction, temperature insulation and can also be considered a cushion for the dash to avoid rattling which I think is still not effective...and to add up talaga daw walang aircon filter ang strada and most of the models that are being launched nowadays, and nabangit din nya kanina na yung mga ganun insulation daw is parang pasak na din which is the part na medyo naguluhan na ko hehe....so in the end he said na talagang papalinis nalang ang aircon kapag mabaho or mahina na which is sad considering na medyo mahal talaga magpalanis and matagal....

    HTH..
