Hi - I am new here. Can you share the casa(s) that allows to bring owner's oil.

The warranty will not be void in case I use, say Petron Trekker MultiGrade 15w:40?

most casa allows it (Union, Diamond and citimotors) you'll only have to pay the labor and corkage whatsoever for the oil you've provided.


just make sure that the oil is the same consistency with the recommended oil of casa for both synthetic and mineral.

Just had my 3rd Clutch Disk Installed with no charge due to consistent Squeaking sound when Press/De-press of clutch during change gears. CASA Claims that the old design has some issues but the one installed are now used in 2010 models with no issues so far...

3 days ko pa lang ginagamit, pero sana wala na maging issue, hassle kasi mag punta sa CASA...

FYI lang po para sa mga magkakaron ng same issue...

Just had my 3rd Clutch Disk Installed with no charge due to consistent Squeaking sound when Press/De-press of clutch during change gears. CASA Claims that the old design has some issues but the one installed are now used in 2010 models with no issues so far...

3 days ko pa lang ginagamit, pero sana wala na maging issue, hassle kasi mag punta sa CASA...

FYI lang po para sa mga magkakaron ng same issue...

yan ba yung squeaking sound na nadidinig sa labas pag press/release ng clutch? nadidinig ko din yan sa akin paminsan minsan e..

same here....napansin ko din yan...hinala ko baka grease lang...i-papacheck ko na din pala para sure.

air filters are usually replaced as part of 20K KM PMS. Brake pads, depends on the driver, my Strada is past 35K KM, and I wasn't advised to change it yet, they just cleaned and adjust on my last PMS. Others have changed theirs, again, depends on driving habits and if its automatic or manual.



sir, thats total BS. next time, ask them to show proof of that memo or advise written from planta. as we posted here sa thread before, coming straight from the plant, you have the option to choose mineral or synthetic oil. it would be the preference of the owner, regardless of the oil type, it will still be under warranty. what the plant suggest, again, suggest/recommend is fully synthetic oil.

next time, tell that stupid service adviser to use the proper term and look up what "recommend" means in the dictionary. Anyway sir, I don't recommend Citimotors Makati for service or sales, they don't give good package. fyi.

Thats BS!!!! waiver???? maski sa manual wala naman naka lagay na ITS A MUST na synthetic ang gagamitin. when i had my GLX serviced for 1km PMS mineral lang din pinalagay ko though they ask me kung gusto ko ba daw i-synthetic. try mo nalang siguro sir sa ibang casa.

hay ako malapit na mag 5K, 100KM nalang 5K na so baka this coming monday or wed mag pa change oil na ako sa alabang west gate.... pag ganito sinabi sakin ng SA ewan ko lang....

Yes - I will not let CITIMOTORS-MAKATI touch any of my beloved Mitsubishi Cars. Hindi pa ako nga ako napapa PM sa kanila eh na inis na ako what more kung nakapasok na ang car ko sa Casa at nakikipag usap na ako sa SA. For sure, heated words ang makukuha nila sa akin.. CITIMOTORS-MAKATI, your service is now a joke to me !!

I will go to Diamond pero tatawag muna ako para sure -- may plan is to go mineral sa 1k and sa 5k I may go to Fully S.

Well, kung talagang may memo na yun ang requirement/suggestion ipakita nila. Kasi noong ako nagpa PMS * 1,000 kms tinanong ako kung ano gusto ko ipalagay mineral or synthetic. Ngayon kung ganun ang sinasabi ng Sevice Advisor ay dapat may pinanghahawakan sila at pwede nila ipakita sa customer. Ang masakit niyan (assuming na may memo) tapos nakalagay pala dun "Recommended engine oil to be use" at hindi "MUST or SHALL" na ini-imply yung usage ng synthethic.

Kasi sa Alabang, Las Pinas at ibang suking casa pumapayag nga silang magdala ka ng preferred oil (any brand, synthe or mineral) labor lang babayaran. Eh ano pa silbi kung ganun yung kanilang i-insist na synthetic lang ang gagamitin pag 1,000 PMS.

Sa clutch disk pala yung squeaking sound? Experienced the same thing mga sirs. Nireklamo ko yan 3 times sa casa na. Ni lubricate Lang nila ang kina ilaliman ng clutch. So far Hindi na bumalik for 5 months now.

Sir kimospeed, saang casa kayo nagpa-service? at gaano katagal? Balak ko rin ipa-check yung sa akin. Pero iba yung napansin ko. Parang may slippage ng konti during initial acceleration. Nov. 23 matatapos warranty ko.

doc, kung slipping at aceleration, that means manipis na lining mo, i greatly suggest that you go to your preferred casa and have the disc replaced. FYI, clutch parts are considered as wear items and therefore not covered by any kind of warranty.

the only loop hole that we have is and only IF THE CLUTCH DISC IS STILL THICK ENOUGH TO PROVE THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN WORN OUT...

to everyone please keep this in mind if you plan to have your clutch problems addressed.
