That awvt loss was a heartbreaker. I don't get why cortes was benched after a stellar performance in the 1st 2 sets.

Coach Sergio's rotation system is really a head scratcher. Parang walang in game adjustments.

I see Bahay as more of a PG and Alas as an SG.

But this was before Kieffer went to the US, where he probably would have needed to play PG as he's only 6'2".

^ Veloso is , by all accounts , a decent human being. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to steer his team to at least a semis berth during his tenure. In the high stakes world of uaap volleyball, being a perennial doormat is just plain unacceptable especially to a demanding lot of alums and fans.

On a related note, the ateneo girls volleyball team was able to entice high caliber junior recruits to transfer their zip codes. Maganda Ang potential Ng homegrown talent pipeline in the next few years.

Hopefully La Salle won't get bitten by the rust bug and not repeat their catastrophic ending 12 years ago.

Yeah he probably is a decent human being, but like any other work, there are expectations that have to be met. Unfortunately for him, the alumni & fan base have very high expectations. To be fair to him, even if si Coach Ramil ang nag handle ng AWVT, I don't think aabot din sa final four.

Yeah it was catastrophic for La Salle, but was a fairy tale cinderella finish for Ateneo. The one with the difficult thrice to beat advantage which Ateneo miraculously overcame. Volleyball was slowly getting attraction & momentum, & culminated in that historic season 76. Which I think was great for the league & the sport as well as it eventually increased interest & viewership. Nonetheless, even with that devastating loss, La Salle still remained relevant & in contention, & is still the barometer when it comes to women's volleyball till now.

Was rooting for UST sana to maybe have a cinderella run too, but no complaints about a finals rematch.

They seemed to be on the way, but lost steam in the end.
