Haha bottom dwellers needed an extra 5 mins to decide the game. Yeah, that missed technical free throw by Bahay did cost a lot, but then his free throws & plays a the end did allow them to at least go into over time. Pansin ko minsan may pagka hero ball tong si Bahay. Daming binabatong bricks. Gagawa ata ng bahay hehe.

Speaking of free throws during regulation, those 8 missed ones were huge. Kung isa lang pumasok dun, baka nanalo pa Ateneo by 1 at the end of regulation. Ilang games na sablay palagi sa free throws Whoever their free throw coach is should be fired.

If they can't win against FEU, what more against UE haha.

Galing ng Bautista ng FEU, sunod sunod na clutch shots.

Mehn, that was an ugly ateneo loss. The boys couldn't hit the broad side of the barn w/ that kind of woeful shooting aim. And They've lost at least 2 games due to a poor free throw percentage.

Maturity talaga ata prob kasi It seems like when the 2nd half of every game rolls in they tend to clam up. Except for that Porter kid though. He's not scared of the moment. And iyong attitude niyang bangga kung bangga is fun to watch. hehe

Got to give it to the Tam's Bautista though, he really poured it on in the end game. Sabihin na natin may halong swerte , what he did though was jaw dropping.

Maganda Naman depensa Ng ateneo. Opensa na Lang talaga Ang pagkukulang. Iyong pa Naman Ang importante hehe

Ano ba tong Pilipinas Live?!!

victor balogun kind of reminds me of another ateneo fsa , chibueze ikeh . ikeh was very raw when he first donned the blue and white, but then he became a solid contributor as he logged in more court time. medyo malayo pa but i somewhat see the same stuff in balogun : eager, tough, and willing to learn. iyon nga lang medyo impatient but maybe he'll learn to be more methodical with more exposure.

My biggest worry is if Coach Tab chooses to leave after this season. I'm sure quite a few vocal alumni are probably not happy with how this season is going. I do hope MVP has his back.

Maybe that's why they got Louie Alas as assistant coach? Just in case Coach Tab leaves, baka siya ang back up.

meanwhile, in the shakey's pre-season championships, the ateneo women's volleyball team lost to nu kanina in 4 sets.

parang ang bagal nila gumalaw. i hope they do low fast sets when the uaap tournament begins. sayang iyong height and skills nila chuatico , de guzman, and miner.

Yeah bagal nga. Hirap sila mag receieve. Parang nag practice lang ang NU. Looks like another learning process non final four season for them.

Now another battle of the bottom dwellers for their last game of the first round.

Haaaaay so Ateneo ends the first round as the new whipping boys of the UAAP. They can't seem to set plays or penetrate the paint. Relying on 3s, buti madaming pumasok nung during that run otherwise mas malaki pa tambak. Another great cardio by Quiteves. Is he in because he's the senior, or are other players worse than him? Balogun is useless. He can't even impose himself on a FSA less team. With the way they're playing, parang FEU lang ka match nila & baka mahihirapan pa ulit sila. Welcome back to the dark ages of Ateneo.

Weather weather lang talaga sa UAAP. There was a time when these two dominated the league, and not so long ago too.

Wow what a great last second shot by UE to win by 1 against Adamson! Partida, na pirata pa si Remogat nyan. Kudos to Coach Jack & other fellow La Sallians in the coaching staff for bringing the winning culture back to UE.
