December 10th, 2004 04:30 PM #2012guys what about the sonics this season, they have beaten playoffs contenders, kobe should take a look what the secret of ray allen.
allen's not forcing the plays, he's deadly behind tha arc, lewis is deadly everywhere in the court, radmanawhathisname is their all around guy, fortson/collision cleaning up the boards and ridnour sharing the ball to everyone. (damn pinakawalan ko siya sa fantasy roster ko)
and they respect their coach,
concepts that which maybe Kobe are not familiar he..he

If Karl Malone was 100% like his agent says, he would have signed with a contender like the Spurs or Miami but he hasn't w/c makes me wonder about his real status and plans.
"The guys are giving ME 110%" - Kobe Bryant. What an EGO trip!! I'm a big fan of Kobe Bryant but after that statement, I'm not so sure anymore, I wonder how the Lakers' season will turn out. Checked out the stats at ESPN... Despite his great all around numbers (26+ppg, 7+rpg, 7+apg) he is averaging 4+turnovers per game, what the H*ck?!
Sonics are the surprise team of the season along with the Suns. Don't know if they could keep it up... You don't win in the NBA with 3s. Side Note: Ray Allen and Kobe have this little rift with Ray Allen saying something like "Kobe is a selfish player", and with Kobe saying "Don't put me in the same League with Ray Allen" or something like that, I'm waiting for their matchup!!!

Seattle will do well as long as they stick to their game plan... I mean, they're not like Boston who takes a lot of threes, Seattle MAKES a lot of threes, 50% 3PT FG% so far as a team is extremely impressive at any standard. It's not like they're spot up shooters as well, Allen, Radmanovic, Lewis, Ridnour are all slashers as well, which makes them hard to guard.
I think the irony is that they're in the Western Conference. They play like the East, no big man, shooters and slashers only. But that's serving them well so far since the big men in the West are forced to move farther from the basket all the time when playing them, which makes the big guys less effective offensively or defensively.
They play good "D" as well, wag lang 1 on 1 post ups hehe.

Nowitzki, who scored 27 points, took a rough fall when he was undercut by a falling Luke Ridnour at 7:08 in the fourth quarter.
"I don't really know what he was doing," Nowitzki said. "I'm (7-0 tall). He wasn't going to get the rebound, that's for sure. I really don't know what his goal was or what his intention was. I certainly don't think he's a dirty player. He just made a bad decision on the play."
yan ang sportsmanship!
