imo MJ is the best ever. better than Wilt, Russell, Magic or Bird (those are my top 5 btw). actually, for me the only debate is whether Jordan is the best athlete ever in any sport, compared to people like Muhammad Ali, Lance Armstrong, and Pele

luckily the Lakers don't have to win for Kobe to have an awesome fantasy season you just have to hope that the superglue on his hands wears off once in a while and he gets at least a couple of assists

    nothing could compare to jordan..
a lot of players was said to be the next jordan...
i remember, pati si jerry stackhouse nasabing the "next"... but pufft! wala!
di napapansin with all the hype of LeBron and Carmelo (ala Magic and Bird)
.. but out come Wade.. malufet pala ang loko... tapos nakuha pa nila si Shaq the following season (that previous season, nakapasok pa sa playoffs ang Heat, hanggang round 2 ata).

si jordan pa nagpauso ng maraming bagay...
sya nagpauso ng trend sa basketball shoes.. before, it was just plain old canvas shoes, then came AIR JORDAN!
All the other basketball players after him, the superstars now, nakikinabang sa mga influences ni MJ sa sport nya.. and to all other sports when it comes to endorsement..

(e.g. penny hardaway, grant hill, stackhouse)

even noon rookie season ni wade explosive na performance

i remember, pati si jerry stackhouse nasabing the "next"... but pufft! wala
even Mr.Nice Guy ..Grant Hill they consider him the next Jordan

You cannot undermine contributions Bill Russel, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and the other Legends... they paved the way for Michael Jordan, and the other young superstars.

Try telling that to Kwame Brown and his Wizzards Teammates :bwahaha:

sa akin naman po every player is unique, let's not compare them with others kasi kahit ganun ka-same ang laro ng players iba pa rin e! hirap ipaliwanag, like lebron (penny before) at magic, they have the same physique, style, and position, carter and dominique wilkins, shaq and wilt chamberlain, nowitzki and bird, they all lived in different eras kaya iba rin sigurado ang theme or style ng laro nila during their time! ngayon masyado ng defensive-minded ang basketball wherein before showtime basketball ang style!

imagine na lang natin kung si iverson played during the time of lenny wilkens at john havlicek tignan na lang natin kung di magmukang bano sila wilkens at havlicek sa spin-move ni a.i.! also imagine na lang natin bill russell guarded by the wallaces (ben and sheed) today tignan natin kung dominating pa rin si russell sa loob! opinion ko lang po.

Yes it isn't right to compare players during different era's. George Mikan wouldn't make an NBA team if he played today, but he was a pioneer because he was the first dominant bigman.
