BEERMEN MAKE IT 4 IN A ROW TO GRAB SOLO LEAD

It was a big win for San Miguel which faced the conference’s top defensive team Purefoods which has limited its opponents to just 79.9 per game prior the tussle.
But it wasn’t only the Giants’ defense that was absent Sunday night as their offense also sputtered the whole game particularly starters James Yap and Kerby Raymundo who were held below their scoring averages.

San Miguel Beer 93 – Seigle 30, Hontiveros 19, Ildefonso 14, Pena 11, Cablay 6, Calaguio 5, Racela 4, Noble 4, Kong 0, Lopez 0, Gonzales 0, Adriano 0.
Purefoods 77 – Tejada 17, J. Yap 12, Limpot 10, Raymundo 10, R. Yap 7, Pingris 7, Artadi 6, Castillo 4, Evangelista 2, Yee 2, Billones 0.
