Ayun, bigla natahimik nung bigla lumamang ang Aces, in the last 2 minutes of the game. Sinwerte pa si Feriols. He-he!
btw, heto may bagong tsismis para sa coming draft day. smb daw will trade dorian pena to fed-ex to get some players from redbull. of course tsismis lang iyan kaya the details are quite hazy pero last season pa iyong umuugong na balita na may pag-nanasa ang smb sa isang sophomore shooter from one of their bitter rivals

Fonacier to join Ateneo pals in SMB?
By Nelson Beltran
Thursday, July 26, 2007
Larry Fonacier is another former Ateneo Blue Eagle set to land at San Miguel Beer.
Reliable sources said San Miguel is in hot pursuit of the 2005-06 Rookie of the Year winner, offering Kiko Adriano, Brandon Cablay and Christian Calaguio as trade replacement to Red Bull.
If the deal is closed, Fonacier is joining at San Miguel former Ateneo teammates Enrico Villanueva, Wesley Gonzales and LA Tenorio. Veteran point guard Olsen Racela is another ex-Atenean on the team.
San Miguel acquired Villanueva in an earlier trade deal with Red Bull. Gonzales was taken in from Air21 and Tenorio from the 2006 Annual Rookie Draft.
Fonacier was among Red Bull players whose playing contract expired at the close of the 2007 PBA season.
Leo Najorda, Junthy Valenzuela, Mike Hrabak and Warren Ybanez all have been given fresh two-year contracts. Fonacier is likely to get his new contract with San Miguel.
Meanwhile, Ranidel de Ocampo signed a P12.6-million, three-year contract extension with Air21 before joining the RP team in its departure for Tokushima, Japan.
The 6-foot-6 center-forward is guaranteed a maximum pay of P350,000 a month up to 2010.
June Peter Simon is close to sealing a contract-extension with Purefoods.
At Talk n Text, Macmac Cardona is also looking for contract extension this early although his existing pact is alive until next year.
“Macmac is building a house in Valle Verde. He needs a new contract which he can show to the bank,” said Espiritu, also Cardona’s agent-manager.
Talk n Text could heed Cardona’s request with the player likely to get the maximum pay of P350,000 a month in his new contract following an excellent showing in the recent Fiesta Cup where he emerged Best Player of the Conference.
Also looking for new contract at Talk n Text are Yancy de Ocampo and Donbel Belano.
Red Bull sends Fonacier to SMB for three players

Larry Fonacier has found a new team in the PBA.
After playing two seasons with Red Bull and winning the top rookie honors in 2005, the former Ateneo Blue Eagle is moving over to San Miguel Beer in exchange for three players.
The three players initially offered or sought in exchange for the sweet-shooting Fonacier are Chris Calaguio, Francis Adriano and Fil-American Brandon Cablay.
“In principle, it’s done,” said a source, which refused to divulge further details, adding that an official announcement will probably be made tomorrow.
“If there will be any changes, it’s with any of the three players from San Miguel,” he added. Representatives from the two teams met yesterday in Makati.
Fonacier, the No. 14 pick of the 2005 draft, is leaving behind former Ateneo teammates Magnum Membrere, Rich Alvarez and Paolo Bugia at Red Bull.
Alvarez, Bugia and Membrere have fresh contracts with Red Bull. Fonacier’s contract with Red Bull just recently expired.
But by joining San Miguel, Fonacier will reunite with Ateneo teammates Enrico Villanueva, formerly of RedBull, Wesley Gonzalez, formerly of Air21, and LA Tenorio, an SMB draftee.
Another former Ateneo players in the San Miguel lineup is Olsen Racela. Head coach Chot Reyes, on loan to the RP team, is also a former Blue Eagle.
Red Bull coach Yeng Guiao welcomed the development, saying his team has managed to survive despite the departure of quality players through the years.
“We’ve survived even though we lost a lot of marquee players in the past. The system has remained competitive. It’s the system and not the players,” Guiao said.
sana makapasok na sa PBA ang Harbour centre
tapos karamihan ng player ay galing sa DLSU
inubos na ng tnt ang lahat ng dlsu players bro...pwera kay idol mike cortez
btw, maapektuhan kaya ang pagka-commisioner ni eala sa pba ngayon na disbar na siya sa pagka-abugado (according to the news last night)? looks like it's going to be a rough season for him next year
SC orders disbarment of PBA commissioner
By Mike Frialde
Thursday, August 2, 2007
The Supreme Court yesterday ordered the disbarment of Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner and sportscaster Emmanuel “Noli” Eala for gross immorality after he was found to have carried an adulterous relationship with a married woman.
In an 18-page per curiam decision, the Court annulled and set aside Resolution XVII-2006-06 passed on Jan. 28, 2006 by the Board of Governors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) dismissing the disbarment case against Eala for lack of merit, and instead disbarred him for gross immoral conduct, violation of his oath of office, and in violation of Canons 1 and 7 of Rule 1.01 (A lawyer shall not engage in unlawful, dishonest, immoral or deceitful conduct) of the Code of Professional Responsibility.
The Court found out that Eala, a married man, carried an extra-marital affair with Irene Moje, a married woman, prior to the judicial declaration that her marriage was null and void.
He “showed disrespect for an institution held sacred by the law” and “betrayed his unfitness to be a lawyer,” reads part of the decision.
In ordering Eala’s disbarment, the Court acted on the petition filed by Joselano Guevarra on March 4, 2002 before the IBP Committee on Bar Discipline against the PBA commissioner for “grossly immoral conduct and unmitigated violation of the lawyer’s oath.”
In his complaint, Guevarra said he first met Eala in January 2000 when his then fiancée Irene introduced the respondent (Eala) to him as her friend.
Guevarra learned that Eala was married to Marianne Tantoco with whom he had three children.
After his marriage to Irene on Oct. 7, 2000, Joselano noticed that from January to March 2001, Irene had been receiving cellphone calls as well as messages from Eala, some of which read “I love you,” “I miss you,” or “Meet you at Megamall.”
Joselano also noticed that Irene habitually went home very late at night or early in the morning of the following day, and sometimes did not go home from work.
When he asked where she went, Irene would usually reply having slept at her parents’ house in Binangonan, Rizal or she was busy with her work.
In February or March 2001, Joselano saw Irene and Eala together on two occasions. On the second occasion, he confronted them. Irene abandoned their conjugal house after that incident.
On April 22, 2001, Joselano gatecrashed Irene’s birthday celebration and saw her and Eala celebrating with her family and friends. After that incident, Irene took all her personal belongings, pieces of furniture and her share of household appliances from their conjugal house.
Joselano later found in the master’s bedroom of their conjugal house, a folded social card bearing the words “I Love You” on its face. When he unfolded the card, he found a handwritten letter dated Oct. 7, 2000, the day he married Irene.
In the letter, which was addressed to Irene, “Noli”, who signed the letter, expressed his “eternal love” for her even if she is about to be married.
“I hope that you have experienced true happiness with me. I have done everything humanly possible to love you. And today, as you make your vows… I will make my own to YOU!” read the letter in part.
Joselano reportedly saw Eala and Irene’s car constantly parked at 71-B 11th Street, New Manila. He later learned that it was Irene’s house.
Joselano also learned later that Irene was pregnant.
In his answer, Eala admitted having sent the “I Love You” card but denied flaunting an adulterous relationship with Irene.
The Court added that Eala also never denied being the father of Irene’s baby girl who was born on Feb. 14, 2002.
