Things must be going well in China...they've shifted from outbreak control to propaganda.

Meanwhile Trump is pushing hydroxychloroquine to cover up his own admin's bungling of the outbreak. Can't help but think the US had a 1-2 month head start over China. They could have ramped up production of face masks and medical supplies. Yet the first thing i heard the Trump administration do was introduce economic measures to cushion the economic impact of the outbreak. Maybe they should've focused on stopping the actual problem rather than introducing economic band-aids that may not solve a supply-side issue.

it's coz Trump is focused on the election

he wants the stock market at record high

if they prepared for corona19 it would cause panic... he didn't want the market to panic

he kept on downplaying it diba?

it's just the flu daw etc

now Trump keeps pushing chloroquine coz he wants to change the public's psychology

kasi diba there's fear that this virus can kill you and/or your loved ones

pero if US FDA approved chloroquine for coronavirus, it would change the psychology

ang iisipin ng tao "may gamot naman eh"

    so the fear would fade

    the stock market will rally

he can go back to focusing on winning a second term

Overthrown, sir? Err, on the contrary, -- the CCP want the people to be "thankful" to them. Not just the Chinese people, mind you, but the WHOLE WORLD. That's why our Beloved President is always thanking China first.

"Speaking Friday, Wang Zhonglin, party chief of Wuhan, the virus-hit capital of Hubei province, said that people in the city -- much of which remains on lockdown -- were not appreciative enough.

It is necessary, Wang reportedly said, "to carry out gratitude education among the citizens of the whole city, so that they thank (President Xi Jinping), thank the Chinese Communist Party, heed the party, walk with the party, and create strong positive energy.""

"As the coronavirus spreads around the world, China has been increasingly vocal about what it appears to feel is a lack of appreciation from the global community for its efforts to contain the outbreak, and preventing the crisis from being even worse than it may turn out to be. "

China wants to take a victory lap over its handling of the coronavirus outbreak

There was a time when there was a backlog in testing that doctor's were given authority to declare a positive case based in CT scans diagnosis..

Huawei looks to partner with PH hospitals for AI-assisted coronavirus diagnosis

Huawei is proposing the use of its Huawei Cloud AI-assisted diagnosis for COVID-19, a system that Huawei says uses AI to speed up the process of evaluating computed tomgography (CT) images. The company said that in China, the country's health commission, includes CT scans as part of its clinical diagnosis standards for COVID-19. Huawei's AI technology could reportedly speed up the process of analyzing these results with an accuracy of 98%, in the process reducing the workloads of doctors tasked with analyzing the images.

The technology is said to be able to help doctors distinguish between early, advanced, and severe stages of COVID-19, and more quickly evaluate a patient's progress and the effects drugs may be having on them. It uses what Huawei calls "computer vision and medical image analysis technologies" to make evaluations of a patient's lungs.

To make the evaluation, Huawei is asking partner hospitals to upload the CT scan of patients to Huawei's cloud service.

“We want to partner with government and private-run hospitals for this project. Partner hospitals will upload the CT Scan of patients to Huawei CLOUD and a 3D rendition of the scan will be received by the medical professional in minutes," Huawei said in a statement.

Huawei Philippines vice president Guo Zhi also said they are offering the service for free. Interested hospitals may contact Huawei through inquireph*huawei.com. "We want to make the technology accessible. This is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility Program," said Guo.

    based on official numbers yes

pero we all know China under-reported number of deaths specially at the height of the epidemic

a lot of deaths weren't counted as coronavirus deaths coz they were never tested

    many died in the homes

    --

maari papunta tayo Italy kasi na-o-overwhelm na ang hospitals natin

kaya madami deaths sa Italy kasi they couldn't treat everyone showing up at hospital
