I wonder if people who get covid now strictly isolate pa? Yung little cousin ko parang hindi sila strict kasi his bathroom is outside his room so he goes out pa rin.

Sa amin wala na, kasi in 1 day nag show na rin ng symptoms ang wife ko, because hindi ako nag isolate. Yung daughter ko in a separate room came down with symptoms, a day after my wife. What puzzles us is that malala ang tama ng wife ko because she's now on her 2nd week and wala pa sya panlasa. Kami ni daughter normal na after 2 days.
^ Yikes! Get well soon!
Where do you think you got the virus?

I got it from my Mom. Weird nga kasi we were both exposed but she tested positive and I didn't (if symptoms don't appear within 7 days from exposure, you're safe). We were exposed Thursday, my Mom showed symptoms on Wednesday the week after (6th day)
I took care of her kaya nahawa ako a few days after. Pero if I let her isolate alone, safe sana ako hehe. She got it when we went home to Laguna. What's funny is we had very few people that we interacted with - Buko vendor, Dali and Ube Store. It's only from one of those places. The week prior we were in Tagaytay and in a crowded restaurant but didn't catch covid
That's not unusual. Back in 2021 when I flew to the US during the pandemic, I had covid 2 months prior to my flight and the US did NOT require an RT PCR test because there is a chance that I will still test positive. I only needed a certification from the doctor and LGU on when I had covid and I am cleared to travel. Pero since stop over ko Japan, I still had to present a negative RT PCR, grabe anxiety ko LOL.
Could that be the reason why immune ang may covid for 3 months kasi traces of the virus are still there?
Donated kasi malapit na ma expire... Di binili
Also versus BA Omicron not the current

buti nalang hindi nagpaapekto ang gobyerno sa pananakot ng octa
-
octa became a household name in 2021 when media used them as resource for covid reporting
octa had strong influence on gov't policy -- when they suggested lockdown maya maya IATF would impose lockdown
covid is the best thing that happened to them
their influence faded after omicron
gov't resisted calls for stricter lockdown during omicron wave in Jan 2022
octa probably misses the power and influence kaya they can't let covid go
their glory days are over and they're trying to stay relevant

it's not octa's numbers
PCR labs report test results to the DOH
the DOH releases daily numbers and octa uses the numbers to come up with positivity rate
sa twitter tina-tag nila ang media
the media uses octa's twitter post for covid reporting
madami na nagsabi hindi reliable ung positivity rate na nilalabas ng octa dahil konte lang nagpapatest and only those with symptoms ang nagpapatest
media highlighting the high positivity rate causes unnecessary alarm
