This was told to me by a Cardio friend. The purpose is to monitor CO2 levels since Covid infection is driven by shared air. Useful in meetings or family get togethers. If the CO2 level reaches 700ppm, that is critical & area should be ventilated. It can also be used to scan the air in enclosed areas like drugstores or banks. Pretty neat.

i couldn't even find his age.
young-ish people have been dying of MI, even before covid was a five-letter word.
they even have a term for it: "M.I. in the young".
without a proper investigation, it is wreckless to peddle that anyone who dies after a covid vaccine administration, died of covid vaccine complication.

COVID booster shot intervals to be slashed in response to Omicron variant - ABC News

Even Australia will be going for 3-month interval for the booster shots.

"To keep vaccine effectiveness high against omicron, vaccination every 30 days is needed."

New studies show that the COVID vaccines damage your immune system, likely permanently

Wow vaccine every 30 days? Which nation will be the first to do it?

I hope you guys won’t mind but while news about the contagiousness of the Omicron variant maybe true, what is not highlighted is that most cases turn out mild if not asymptomatic. Again, most of those hit hard are the unvaxxed & those with comorbids/immunocomps & I think the direction of the health experts is to protect them.

    About the author...

Tech millionaire Steve Kirsch went from covid trial funder to misinformation superspreader | MIT Technology Review

With little government funding available for such work, Kirsch founded the Covid-19 Early Treatment Fund (CETF), putting in $1 million of his own money and bringing in donations from Silicon Valley luminaries: the CETF website lists the foundations of Marc Benioff and Elon Musk as donors. Over the last 18 months, the fund has granted at least $4.5 million to researchers testing the covid-fighting powers of drugs that are already FDA-approved for other diseases.

That work has yielded one promising candidate, the antidepressant fluvoxamine; other CETF-funded efforts have been less successful. But that’s not a surprise, according to researchers who conducted them: the vast majority of trials for any drug end in failure.

What has alarmed many of the scientists associated with CETF, though, are Kirsch’s reactions to the work he’s funded—both successes and failures. He’s refused to accept the results of a hydroxychloroquine trial that showed the drug had no value in treating covid, for instance, instead blaming investigators for poor study design and statistical errors.

He’s also publicly railed against what he claims is a campaign against drugs like fluvoxamine and ivermectin. And, according to three members of CETF’s scientific advisory board, he put pressure on them to promote fluvoxamine for clinical use without conclusive data that it worked for covid.

More recently, he’s adopted extremist positions on covid vaccines, which he alleges are “toxic.” He has claimed that one in 1,000 people who have received mRNA vaccines have died as a result, and even claimed the vaccines “kill more people than they save” at an FDA public forum, which was first reported by the Daily Beast.

Nearly all of the monoclonal antibodies used to prevent severe disease fail to stand up to the new variant, laboratory assays show.

The preprints report that only two antibodies show strong evidence of retaining some ability to thwart the variant: sotrovimab, developed by Vir Biotechnology in San Francisco, California, and GSK, headquartered in London; and DXP-604, which is undergoing clinical trials in China and was developed by BeiGene and Singlomics, both based in Beijing.

These findings are already affecting health-care policy. US health officials have said they will ration sotrovimab, allotting it to states on the basis of numbers of infections and hospitalizations and the prevalence of Omicron. But many countries either can’t meet the impending demand for sotrovimab or can’t access it at all, which will increase the burden for an “already stressed health-care system”, says Rajesh Gandhi, an infectious-disease physician at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Sotrovimab is the best of the lot. Even so, the concentration required to halve viral replication was roughly three times higher for Omicron than for other coronavirus variants. Although sotrovimab’s drop in potency against the new variant is significant, says Stuart Turville, a virologist at the Kirby Institute in Sydney, Australia, and a co-author of one of the preprints2, “it’s nothing like what we saw for the others”. That might be because sotrovimab targets a part of the spike protein that is unchanged across many related coronaviruses.

    of course

the antibodies contained in those monoclonal/polyclonal drugs were chosen coz they have high affinity to earlier variants

omicron is too different for those antibodies to attach

the more accurate word is probably "goes around" and not "overpowers".
