gurus! help! yung newly painted ride namin..yung mga ibang panels rough to touch, yung iba naman smooth...what gives???

probobly paint overspray, claying should smoothen it out.

You can buy the soft99 Clay bar from Concorde or the Mothers Clay bar from Bigberts...

hmm..parang natatanggal ko nga upon really swiping my hand over it..sana nga matanggal ng clay...kailangan pang bumili hehe..cleaner wax di kaya?

You can try it on a smal portion, pag ayaw then go the clay route.

yeah will try it tomorrow first thing. interestingly though, dun sa parts na naulanan last night yung merong ganyang texture...the hood's still slippery to touch...

claying..what do you need to wet it nga? QD ba? or soapy water pwede na? diluted carshampoo ng bigberts pwede din?

Preferably QD. But Diluted Car shampoo will do.

naku...di kinaya ng cleaner wax..although may ginagamit dad ko kanina...polishing (not rubbing) compound which is clear coat safe. try ko tomorrow, sana matanggal..

usually ang strength ng product is on based on how you use it. a polishing compound would do wonders if coupled with a ROP / Rotary. if doing by hand, prepare yourself for a exercise. BTW, what polishing compound is your dad using?

cleaner waxes naman WOWO method. very effective if used with a machine..

is this still a problem? baka uneven ang finish on your panels. not buffed enough for example. in inorder to correct this, wet-sanding, buffing and polishing ang kailangan depending on the severity. this would need a pro.

or like ILD said, baka paint overspray lang yan. got any pics? clay lang katapat nun.

ILD & dehadista, thanks for your reply. I went to Glorietta yesterday and looked at some products I can use (with my remaining TW). Formula 1 Scratch Remover/Eagle 1 Carnauba Cleaner Wax/Zymol Cleaner Wax? What's your pick? Walang Mother's products on most shops except True Value.
