holding it comes naturally. just settle with a solid base and make sure you've got a good grip on it.

Might consider getting one of 'em Rotaries next year...
Question lang fellow detailers, do you find your self at night under a light source looking at your car's hood at an angle, searching for swirlmarks? feeling ko na wwierdohan na sakin mga kapitbahay ko hehehe I always do that when I get home or after I wash my car. Speaking of swirls, may mga swirls na rin oto ko hehehe di talaga maiwasan

dehadista: what pad do you use for removal? the freebies that came with the B & D where virtually useless...

I won't admit it to anyone in the household but from time to time, I go to the garage to check on my car and just admire the work I've done or look for swirls that I may have missed. hehehe..
that's the problem with swirls. even moreso on daily drivers. they'll always be there... that's why we're always out there maintaining that new car finish.

There is a cheaper alternative to the Makita, its a makita replica and the brand is Maxsell. Meron ito sa TV. It comes in 6 and 8 inch, personally I would recommend the 6 since its lighter(less stress on the arms) and its abit easier to manuvure on tight spots. Plus!!! The 6 inch pads are cheaper hehehe.
Mahirap nga yun rotary at first. I got holograms, small scratches(caused by the backing plate) on the paint but this happend while trying to do tight spots - advice : kung di kaya, wag mo na pilitin, do it by hand hehehe Best to do it at night under your garage with flourescent lights, kase kung under the sun di mo makikita masyado yun holograms and fine swirls.
