Teka, the 3 month shelf life thing applies ONLY to their liquid sealants like Fusso/Gecki etc.
Zymol isn't repackaged TW, it's under TW's company but not in any way repackaged TW products.

Megs has their own backing plate for this. haven't tried it though.. others have said that mas madali daw i-center ang pad sa plate with this backing plate.

ILD and others looking for soft99 waxes,
i was looking for soft99 waxes, specifically Bi-Gloss, also at concorde but most of the branches i went to, like Megamall and SM City, were renovating their shops. because of the renovation, i was informed that they pulled out their soft99 products but would be returning them once the renovation is done.
however, they also told me the soft99 waxes were still available in some of their branches like SM fairview and SM manila. i went to SM Manila and true enough, they were stocked with soft99 products. naka bili na ako ng Bi-Gloss (ngaun gusto ko naman Rain Hop hehe). sa SM fairview di ko alam.
so check nyo na lang sa SM manila. bad trip no? layo pa naman.Last edited by morrissey_05; April 29th, 2005 at 06:52 PM.

theveed,
send kita ng pic ng car ko, sobrang kapal na ng dirt, di na pantay-pantay ang kulay sa panel. yung ibang spots white, yung iba naman grey na sa dumi..cleaner wax ba ang fastest solution to this? i wanna know lang, coz it aint cheap din..around 400bucks...TW brand.

Fellow detailers... do you let your wax haze after applying it? Or do you buff it off soon after you apply it?

depends on the instruction... usually I let it haze muna.. mga 10 minutes or so.
minsan naman pag machine applied ang wax, in my experience, manipis talaga kaya haze kagad. usually happens when #26 or NXT gamit ko..

ILD Depends on product, waxes with a lot of fillers or oils (like Meg 26) REQUIRES a longer drying time, even if you applied it thinly. Cleaner dapat WOWO lang.
Zechs: Cleaner wax is the easiest route, di gaano ok cleaner wax ng TW, try 3M Finish Restorer kung neglected na. Cheaper pa, 300 lang ata.
ET1: Not all, mga Soft99 lang. chemical composition (petroleum content) evaporates.

theveed, eh yung liquid shine nyo, cleaner wax din ba yun? how much naman yun? i saw the zymol packged products kanina, was about to buy sana (zymol cleaner wax and detailer and zymol auto wash) kaso i wasnt so sure kung ok ito. also i saw FORMULA 1 scratch remover, pero i dont know whats this for..can anyone supply me the purpose of this one? also the TW carnauba wax, is this any good?
gusto ko na talaga i-'restore' yung car to its original shine, hirap talaga pag puti. yung isang panel nga eh, di na kakulay ng ibang panels.
oh and what brand of car shampoo do you recommend? para ma-complete ko yung pagka-'detail' ko sa car namin. di ba dapat wash muna, and then clay (if ever meron) and then cleaner wax and then wax, tama ba ang procedure?
