observing / discovering the preferences of genZs and their reasoning is fascinating
I work with a lot of Gen Zs (I’m actually one of the older people in our office already) and I noticed they’re very big on purpose, sustainability, and mental health. Most of them wala na ring hilig sa kotse at all.

But one thing I noticed is the shift in values/priorities across generations is more pronounced sa mga taong may kaya. For the lower income classes, across generations ang habol nila is financial stability. Maslow’s Hierarchy at work.

I don’t just work with people in the company. I also work with blue collar workers who are out on the field every day.

well yeah one can adopt AND practice "woke" values when one doesn't have to worry about money

like choosing to only buy environment-friendly, labor-friendly, cruelty-free products that cost more (is the company/brand ESG-compliant?)

will only work for companies that have wellness / mental health support for employees -- people who don't desperately need work have the luxury to choose who to work for

    ^^^

and also those who come from affluent families are more likely to be exposed to woke culture, ideas, and values while growing up

compared to those from less affluent backgrounds

Afaik Ray-Ban signed a product placement deal for almost 60 films. The notables were Risky Business, Top Gun, and Rain Man and in those Cruise was wearing Wayfarers and Aviators, and sales went through the roof. So my guess is until now they have some sort of commission ex-deal for such a succeful colab.
