but the ray bans are available in many optical stores.

i like ray ban quality.
my prescription frames are ray bans.

I’ve tried Aviators and its more modern counterpart, the Rayban Cockpit.

The Cockpit has less of that wasp-eye shape and is also smaller, so it fits my face better.

I didn’t know that Raybans have fallen out of style with millennials since many of my friends still have either Aviators or Wayfarers.

even the manufacturer says that their sales figures shot up during that period.
