Just wanna ask some guys out here who own one of the said truck kung magkano po ang PMS nya?? my mom is looking for a truck (sa kanya money ang pambili, hahaha) and we came up to this one (we had to take in a lot of considerations).

we just need an AT pick up for some reasons...

    OPTION # 1: Toyota Hilux 3.0G 4x4 AT
we really wanted this one. roomy interior, huge bed, good looks, great reputation. but it's the price that make us doubtful, baka hnd kayanin sa budget. also, we already own a Fortuner...

OPTION # 2: Mitsubishi Strada 3.2L 4x4 GLS Sport AT
my mom loves this truck. roomy interior, good looks, and affordable price. ayaw lang namin yung bed nya; it has this curve-designed side gate (dont know what you call that part) sa bandang likuran. since we own a furniture shop, baka tumaob yung mga ipapatong dun kahit may tali pa.

    OPTION # 3: Isuzu D-MAX LS 4X2 AT
it's got roomy interior, good looks, and great reputation. having an AT available in 4x2, price is definitely reasonable. PMS amount lang ang kelangan naming malaman so my mom can decide na.

we did not include the following trucks in the list due to the given reasons:

    Nissan Frontier Navara 4x2 AT
nissan has expensive parts at kelangan original parts ang ini-install since mahirap maghanap ng replacements (aminin na natin).

    Ford Ranger Trekker 4x2 AT
masikip ang interior, di pwedeng pang long driving (dami kami kilalang may ayaw sa said vehicle, not comfortable daw specially sa rear seats).

    Mazda BT-50 2.5L MT
same as the ranger since they have the same body dimensions. and, well, no AT available...

SO, nananawagan po ako sa mga may ari ng D-MAX 4x2 AT kung magkanu po ang periodic maintenance para ma-i-consider na po ito... maraming salamat po sa tulong ninyo...

ADD'L INFO: we also own an Isuzu pick-up model '94 (but purchased in October 1993) and still running well, although nangangalawang na yung bed nya... we don't want to sell it, tested na kc since it's our workhorse at home... hahaha

PMS ko Average 2k but i supply the oil, oil filter lang at labor kanila. Ask people you know about fuel efficiency ng mga ibang brands lalo na bout no.! and no.$, sold no.$ already d kaya ang efficiency grabe =] MOHO happy new year

I could only speak for the 4x2 MT LS. Good thing I managed to keep my receipts for future reference.

1st PMS: 3,478.27 Change Oil and Oil filter. Free Labor
2nd PMS: 2,226.83 Same as the above.

For the succeeding PMS, I inquired on the prices and the guy showed a paper with the following figures. I forgot to ask though if the price of labor is inclusive.

    10k PMS: 6,020.27
    15k PMS: 4,788.71
    20k PMS: 10,371.15
    25k PMS: 4,788.71
    30k PMS: 6,567.71
    35k PMS: 4,788.71
    40k PMS: 11,662.78

Please take note that the above prices are based on what I saw in their list and you know them, they could change the figures anytime so it's still best to ask them first for more accurate figures. Hope this helps! Go Dmax!

My average for a regular 5k PMS (4x2 MT LS) is 2 to 3 thousand at our local casa. For my 20k major PMS which I had done in Isuzu Cebu(Mandaue), it cost me 7,662.40. Just about 2 weeks ago, I had my 40K PMS in Isuzu Bacolod and it cost me 9,456.

sir agent_ysann, diesel engine have cheaper maintenance compare to gasoline engines... less components to replace... as i have a crv 2007 and a dmax... comparing both on maintenance, the crv takes a big bite on the wallet but i wouldnt dwell on the maintenance that much kc you only have to do it every 3 months or so, depending on the usage of your vehicle, when i bought the dmax i was consedring the FC it would have.. kc you spend more money on gasoline than your cars maintenance...

ha?? 2,000 for a PMS sa casa??? mejo imposibe po sir ah.. heheheh.... ang crfv naman is every 10,000kms... but still kung purely change oil lang gawin sa honda nasa 2,000 rin mababayaran mo... diesel kc you just have to maintain the engine oil and filter... sa gasoline meron ka pa mga sparkplugs, etc...
