Since we moved back to AZ back in 2014, we've had the same 50 Mbps with 1 TB monthly cap. Even using 2 Netflix at the same time or 1 Netflix + DirecTV On Demand, plus all of our connected devices (3 PCs, 3 laptops, 2 tablets, 3 smartphones, 1 PS3), we still haven't come close to going over the cap.

I signed up for 50 Mbps. But, we routinely get 60 Mbps. None of us game online. So, we don't need fast upload speeds.

my suggestion is either ask neighbors if may experience sila or just inquire with sky if they allow some sort of trial period.

Bro, which SkyBroadband plan/speed did you get before which crawls at 7pm? And what speeds do you get during that time?

    Thanks.

Kawawa naman ako compared to the speeds you guys are posting.

And I find it hard to believe that my speed is 55% faster than PH average? i never experience buffering when I watch youtube naman.

I think it was the 999 plan not sure pero yung speed 3mbps.

Madaling araw mga 2am onwards full speed

Morning till afternoon siguro swerte na maka 1mbs. Lots of lag.

7pm onwards wala na mabagal pa sa dialup ko dati. Cant even send messages using mobile apps.

T0rr*nt downloading was throttled kahit madaling araw.

Ganyan plan ko dati, 1mbps pa nga yan inupgrade lang to 3mbps.

If available fibr sa inyo baka pwede palitan na ng pldt? as the equivalent of that is 10mbps

You don't need fast download or upload speeds when gaming. You need good latency.

    *All

I'm using PLDT Fibr in my condo and I get consistent 100Mbps down/30Mbps up speeds. In residential areas, it should give you a symmetrical 100/100 speed if pure fiber optic cabling is used up to the house. In older condos without provision for fiber optic cables, they use fiber to copper (VDSL2) which is why the max speeds are 100/30.
