Customer service is poor, installation period requires a lot of patience, tech support can be mediocre but when it runs, ping rates are low and speeds are consistent.

Just remember to NOT use their modem as a router and use your own instead as it is definitely a security risk. There's an app out there that can give anyone access to your wifi if you're using the pldt modem as your wireless router.

Btw, you will also need to be on 802.11ac to get 100 Mbps internet over wifi.

Isn't 802.11n sufficient? A 300 mbps router usually leads to an effective 100-150 mbps connection which should be able to handle your fiber connection.

Not really (believe me I've tried ). N routers and cards, even with MiMO, can only get me as fast as 60Mbps, and that's with direct line of sight. Sa 2nd flr bagsak to half that speed.

We are still on a 7mbps 10GB max per day plan (auto downgrade to 1mbps if the max is hit for the day). Monthly is P1600 with landline service with "free calls" to Globe phones... Uptime is better than 98% and so no complaint....

Any better plan these days for the same amount from Globe?

Corporate Plan 1200 from Smart. What we have is a Smart postpaid sim, so I just bought a 4G router.

I was a skeptic of non-wired internet, but we have more reliable 4G signal than our old DSL connection.

bro, i have the 15mbps 150gb/month * 1,599. with landline + free calls to globe phones also.
hit your 150gb monthly allocation then speed will be throttled down to 4.5mbps unlimited until the first day the following month.

    Meron yan.

You just have to ask them.

    Not for residential use though.

baka eto hanap mo, Converge Ict. Up and coming ISP, maganda ang feedback sa kanila. However, kokonti ang coverage pa. Up to 20MBPS for only 1.5/month. Fiber to the home, no data cap. They claim to be selling consumer (home fiber) speeds of up to 100MBPS for only 3.5 no data cap. If they are able to follow thru with their 80% service reliability, hindi tulad ng 2 isp jan, ayus na.
