Same here, I am paying the same monthly bill but my internet speed increased, especially my max download speed. It happened after the accident where the internet connection to Taiwan was cut. When the connection was restored, my speeds have slightly more than doubled.
Whatever the reason, I am not complaining and I hope it it continues.

My Globelines internet is fairly stable at 1.5Mbps (Plan995) since Day1 (that was a year ago)....

November 3rd, 2009 11:20 PM #105Pre-Ondoy, I was getting 2MB on my PLDT 1MB plan (I wasn't complaining :D). Then my net got cut off for one week because of Ondoy and now it's down to it's normal 1MB.
No complaints from PLDT's service otherwise, but I'm looking to get a new line which combines a cell line in one..
