    That is an overkill, imo.

Anyway, I have returned my N7 over the weekend. Refund will take 7 days.

Seriously, can they really detect if you are carrying a note7 in your luggage? Will they switch it on and check the setting? That would only hold the queue and lengthen processing time.

Thanks for all your input and comments. I eventually picked up a Zenfone3max as a second phone. So far, I'm loving the camera, the fingerprint scanner at the back that allows you to take pic, as well as the overall size and feel of the phone. It will take me a while to get used to the android os, but for the price (8995) this thing packs quite a punch!

pansin ko sa mga malalaki battery eh HD screen lang. maybe they are really building these devices to last more than a day since 1080p uses less battery than qhd.

Huawei P9 vs Samsung Galaxy J7 (216) - Phone specs comparison

It seem aside form the battery performance, the P9 is better.

Pricewise though the P9 is really higher. Since it's for your son, get the J7 na lang. But the alcatel flash plus 2 is way cheaper for almost the same specs as the J7, you might want to check that one too. Just buy the 3gb ram model.

Cost is not an issue since both the P9 and J7 are free with Globe's Plan 1499.

I am using the plan (contract renewal) but will give the P9 or J7 to my son to replace his old Lenovo A536. He's on prepaid.

That said, between the two, the P9 will be better?

Just did a quick look at the specs and I'd pick the P9.

May root solutions na rin sa xda.

    P9 it is!

I had to ask because on paper, the P9 seems superior (aside from screen size and battery capacity) over the J7. But at the end of the day, it's still a Huawei. I have somewhat of a (maybe unfair) negative bias over Chinese brands.

Well, with the recent problems of Samsung, one can't truly be sure anymore which brand has better quality over which brand.

Foxconn naman ang oem ng Huawei - same as Apple's, Google, Xiaomi, and Sony.
